I like that they stopped throwing caution for every spin but that last one for busch could of wrecked a great race.

 

Yeah that one didn't really need a caution. I'm guessing they just wanted to bunch everyone up again.

 

They do like to do that. Personally I’d rather just watch the 45 try to run down the 20 for the closing laps.

 

Passing for the lead was hard all night unless the leader made a mistake. Great race overall though

Larson should probably go after the 41 but he won't. His equipment is so much better he would have to wait on him. Tony has a TON of respect for Larson, what he has done on dirt and his talent. Tony really really wanted Larson for SHR but I don't think Ford wanted to deal with the negative publicity. Where Rick could pretty much tell Chevrolet what he was going to do and they just let it happen because he is one of the largest dealers in the world. I like Ryan but yesterday was frustration boiling over from having less success than expected at this point in the season. Larson did use him up a little but nothing more than is permissible for dirt. Then the 41 just ruined his day intentionally. Ryan fell victim to getting frustrated and becoming the thing he keeps bitching about keeping him from being successful. I mean what is Preece going to say if he calls Larson, he is the subject matter expert on dirt and how you should race on it. Preece has a dirt background and thought this was an opportunity for them.

 

Cody Ware has been suspended indefinitely after being arrested on several assault charges, including strangulation.

 

Damn.

Ooh, he gone for good if it's true. Given his history, I don't think we're dealing with a Kurt Busch-type situation.
The good side is that with Cody gone, Rick Ware can sell that charter to Dale Jr. & Associates.

 

Probably the biggest escalation of "personal matters" since Clint Bowyer last year.

Not even comparable!!! Clint’s was a tragic accident. If what is alleged with Cody is true, dude should swallow a gun.

 

I didn't say they were comparable. Just referencing how something can go from "personal matters" so something so serious.

I have a dark sense of humor so it comes natural to me. Sorry if it offended anyone (and I don't mean that sarcastically)

 

I read earlier that NASCAR is looking into the Preece and Larson incident and they may penalize Preece for that.

 

Taking all the rear downforce off seems to have helped.
