2023 NASCAR THREAD!!!

Noah said in his interview that he has respect for Justin Marx and the rest of Trackhouse so he doesn't wreck them on track but he was tired of no one standing up to Ross after being used up a couple of times by him.

 

Had he not been held back, Noah would have provided Ross the ass whipping he deserves. They should have let it happen. The sport would be better for it. I mean at least let Noah get a couple of shots in for fucks sake.
Ross got a clean shot but it did not hobble Noah at all.

 

The real issue is Ross is just driving through people on the reg. It is coming to a head and someone will put him in the wall soon enough.

 

Yep! There ain’t a single driver who’s not over his stupid and non meaningful apologies.

 

I mean on average he is screwing over 3-5 drivers per week. I expect either Kyle B or Brad K will take care of the situation soon enough. Josh Berry will have no issue handling it either if he crosses him up.

 

Idk, I feel like those guys have mellowed out from a physical standpoint. And both of them own race teams so they know how expensive equipment can be and how much work goes into each.

 

Hotdog! I like Ross even more now. Stayed calm. Said “please stop,” then unloaded. Calm & collected. Hard to rattle that guy.

 

Noah took that pop well. I respect that.

 

I'm just indifferent to him. I want to dislike him, but I just can't. I don't really like him either. But I suppose it would probably be different if he had wrecked my guy. They've had a couple of spats, but that's about it. I guess I just enjoy the drama as sort of a neutral person.

 

But can we talk how about good that racing was??

 

Outside of the ridiculous amount of cautions, especially to start stage 3, it looked pretty good to me.

 

I like Chastain as well. A little over exuberant last year as a rookie and it showed. He got into people and pissed a lot off (little Gibbs was a one man wrecking crew last year as well in Xfinity). He seems to have dialed it back a bit but still has a way to go. He moved up on Gragson but still gave him plenty of room. Gragson just couldn't handle it. He's still learning these cars. And he's a guy who almost killed some drivers on a road course last year and probably has the shortest fuse of any driver out there. Judging from the shot (nice hockey right) Chastain gave him I get the impression Ross can handle himself quite nicely. Crazy fighting only get's you so far.
I find it rather ironic that a few of the veterans complaining about the lack of respect were some of the worst offenders when they were young. Do as I say? It'll be interesting to see the reaction next time Denny gets up on his soap box. I believe Denny has the utmost respect for Larson but intentional or not, he still wrecked him. Just my take of course. Wouldn't be fun if we all rooted for the same driver.
