It is not my intent to argue either. You are welcome to your perspective but everything on this list Bubba does in fact have something to do with with the exception of the Larson event where he was fired and suspended for a racial slur. Bubba, made a decision to blow the rope thing out of proportion and participate in the farce that was. So not a bystander in that event at all. Same with the PR campaign. Acting a fool was hooking Larson then walking across the infield and assaulting Larson. This was totally within his control to stop or even apologize for. Any other driver would have had to sit out at least one race for violating safety rules at a minimum. Upper middle class upbringing and his opportunities. He uses his ethnicity to make a case for how his road to the sport has been much harder than other when in reality at least in the last few years it is the opposite of that. His performance is not getting him quality rides and sponsors. It is the body of work that is the issue. Up until a few years ago I was pulling for Bubba. Then he became woke but unfortunately it was from a dream he never had!

Overall it was a smart move by Noah. He is in average equipment with not many people talking about him. He confronts a guy that everyone is talking about. Takes a punch and now he is in the conversation, the media is talking to him and it will get a lot more coverage for his sponsors. No downside to what Noah did other than not getting a few shots of his own in before it was broken up.

He does need to polish the edges for sure. No doubt he will have lot of success however he is more of a sprint racer in mentality. This is not the first time a driver has come up like this. And the majority do not end up as Dale Earnhardt. It takes a lot of class and skill to be an asshole. I still have not seen Ross do anything in a car that made me say, WOW. I mean I give him the wall trick at the paperclip but that was planned and tried on the sim for sure. And that just took a driver that was dumb enough to give it a go. Balls do not equal talent. Running upfront by driving people into the wall or dumping them does not imply talent. I mean, yeah. He is finding success but at some point it has to catch up and will.

biggest thing to get excited about at LMC in quite awhile. Noah is emotional but will get in your face and let you know. Ross, not sure if someone dying on the track will get people to realize he's a bit of a loose canon in that hot rod.

The thing with Ross, is alot like gibbs kid when he was in xfinity series. Ross has a fast car, he doesn't have to run over or knock drivers out of the way. Gibbs was the same way in xfinity, had the fastest car in the field and thinks he has to run over everybody. Ross had zero patience.

It almost sounds advantageous to lean into current popular events/movements as a potentially positive PR move to attract sponsorship for upcoming drivers. Seems like I've heard this one somewhere before.

If done properly. Where I get off the bus is with Movements. I mean, hell. You are welcome to sell your soul for whatever purpose you like but that will also hurt you with some, or the majority in this sport. What is good for the short term will not fair well in time when the woke masses move on to another movement and you are left with only those actual fans whose face you enjoyed spitting in. So as with anything. You must have a line and when crossing it be prepared to ride that donkey. Hence the post that say "fuck Bubba".

I would love to see Newman shove Ross! I wonder if his no push rule would still stand.

My favorite move by him was actually the Indy RC. Final lap he knew he wouldn't make the right without wiping out half the field so he says fuck it and just takes the safety road.

Funny reading all the media waxing how Denny pulled off the perfect bump and run on the last lap to win the race. I've seen a thousand bump and runs. Bump and run gracefully moves the other guy up into the next lane to allow you to get by. Wreck and run puts him in the fence. Most of the fans at the track seemed to agree. But hey, he's in the show right? :D

He is not afraid to think outside the box. That is for sure. And all in all he is marketing himself extremely well. He has the ability to be successful but now he needs to tone in down a bit. He will find the point where the other drivers will have enough and will not let him finish a race. I mean, fuck it. It's fun to watch until its my drivers turn to get dumped anyway.

Yeah, Danny's move dump and run. Big difference between a skillful bump and run and dump and run.

I am not a Denis fan at all. BUT, in this climate where you have to win to get in. And being that he did have the best car yesterday and he did run the 5 down. And the 5 was lose as hell. I did not have a problem with it. Larson has a couple of wins. The 11 did run him down by over a sec. That track is all momentum. I can give that one to the 11. Now, had that been the 9 who does not have a win and his points situation. Would have been a lot more dirty of a move but all things considered. I call that one fair game and tough racing.

Larson is freaking dangerous right now. He does not get rattled at all, he knows he is in the best car every week and should win. When something happens he files it away and moves on. I could see him ending the season with more than 10 wins. That 5 team is really coming into its own and I expect the next decade might remind us of the CK/JJ years in the 48. Chase is going to end up being the Jeff 24 to the Johnson 48.

That was just good racing from two guys who battled the last 30 laps. If it went the other way, Denny would have given props.

I'm a Chase fan but I don't think he's got the balls to pull off that type of move anymore. I'm not sure what happened to him and I hope he snaps out of it. Even before his skiing accident, he was a lost soul.

I think you mentioned it earlier and I agree. I'm a huge Blaney fan and hope he becomes the new NASCAR darling. He just needs to win :annoyed:
