First the PS pump now this. Amazing.
I’ve had zero issues with my 2006. Been 17 years of solid reliability. ( except for the frame. New one ).

Just vary your speed. 50, 55, 60, 45. Isn’t there snow up there right now? If so. A lot slower. I’m in the bay and haven’t been up since Nov when the pass closed and tried to drive all over that mountain to get thru. Ended up turning around and going home. But what a fun day on Toyo open country AT III’s!! Powder, hard pack, some ice..

lots of snow off road but they keep the roads pretty good. Up in the sierras there is snow on the roads, over 80 at donner pass and over 50 at echo summit and stuff but down here roads are dry.

Yeah. Usually take 50 to Tahoe and 80 to Reno. Okay sweet! Just vary your speed for the break in

Maybe some on here can answer this question.
Do all the 2023 Tacomas have the same rear axle and differential gears ratio ?

Trying to see if the differential growl is associated to a particular trim level.
    Thanks

It appears the rear differential ratio is the same on all automatic transmission models. 6BECC222-537E-4926-8516-18D947F42001.jpg8859AD6C-7265-45B9-A162-D76BDF42781F.jpg0F516C4F-8687-4F71-BB73-F760E42FF23D.jpgE13835FA-1C0C-4832-9F95-132A4FDC4F38.jpg

Does anyone know if there’s a way to shut off the feature when you start your truck from your phone then you open the door it shuts off. My wife’s Jeep doesn’t do that her mom’s Tahoe doesn’t do that. My buddies GMC sierra doesn’t do that. Why Toyota why.

It’s so annoying. But at least the truck warms up even if I have to start it twice

I had the same complaint about our 2022 Lexus RX350, same mobile app, same key fob remote start (hard to time the 3 clicks, and very slow to get it to work). I live in AZ and in the summer remote start to cool down the car is a good thing, but who decided it had to shut off automatically?

My previous car was a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, and two pushes of a button on the key fob started it, simple, and it stayed running up to 10 minutes. You could not put the car into gear until you pushed to ignition starter button twice with the key fob in range (in you hand pocket etc…), so nice simple, easy, and that was on a car from almost 9 years ago.

Now we have 2 cars with the same idiotic remote start systems. Yuck.

I google Tacoma assembly plant. YouTube have the Texas Tundra Ava Tacoma plant

From stamped steel to roll off inspection. 20 1/2 hrs. New truck every 30 min rolling. Loaded for shipping 24 hrs later.

not sure how the Mexico plant does. But your seem they could keep up with demand.
