Nice. They look really clean and don't stick out as much.

Picked up a 23' DCLB OR the day before Thanksgiving. Only thing I wish I got was the tech package with the rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitors. Coming from a 18' Camaro 2SS, it was nice to have those features. I sure do miss the power! But my daughter just turned 2, so it was time to move on.

So far I've done: LED Interior/Exterior lighting, Bed Lights from Pro Model, Tint (15% rear and 30% front, Ceramic), Bilstein 5100's all around, Pro Grill.

Ordered the Subaru Tweeters and Kicker CS front speakers. Looking into either the JL Stealth box or a hideaway 10" sub, dunno if I want to spend $1,000 for a sub+box though. I already have amps from old car stereo's, but the hideaway looks like a nice alternative with built in amp. Speaking of car stereo stuff, does anyone make an adapter harness to do the Key 4 channel amp for the 2023's non JBL HU? From what I gather, the plug changed around 2020 or 2021 that everyone uses.

Other future plans are Method NV 305's in Bronze and then eventually bigger tires. LB's look a little goofy on the stock tire size.

Pic was taken after the 5100's were installed and the day the tint was done. I still need to adjust the headlights.

I need to get some better tires. If you look close you can see the tent spike I ran over which punctured the tire. I had to swap to spare on the trail. So far I have blacked it out and removed air dam. Plan to lift and put 285’s on it.

I don't think I bought it from Jerry.

Funny story, I emailed like 15-20 Toyota dealerships in and around California/Nevada looking for a 4x4 OR for MSRP and they were the only ones that would sell me one. Literally 10 minutes from my house.

    No complaints.

Picked up MGM 2023 TRD OFf-Road AT recently. Loving it so far. Only wish there were more MT options available in SoCal. So far got RCI Cat shields on, and waiting for some sliders to come in. Will upload some pictures when I get them.

Auto harness warehouse I think makes plugs .
    Stealth box is awesome
I bought a audio control ACM amp for the four door speakers and the ACM 300 for the stealth box which is wired for two ohms . Plenty of power out of those amps
It sounds really good . I changed the head unit .
But if you want to keep the head unit look into the Audio control 5 channel amp D5.1300
That will run your whole system and it has a built in dsp

Finally found a 23’ TRD OR DCLB out of state last month (after 7 months of searching/waiting for an allocation) It had a few more options (leather, sunroof) than I wanted but I’m super happy with it! Also has the Toyo-guard protection on the exterior and interior which I’m skeptical about but it has a warranty. After daily driving a TJ Wrangler for 12 years I have quite a learning curve with all the technology in the Tacoma. Plan is to keep it mostly stock except for things like window tint, mudflaps and tires. Currently pricing and comparing options for a bed cover. This is my first new vehicle and I’m hoping it will last me a long time

My wait is almost over waiting on a 2023 OR DCLB with tech package at msrp it was so hard to find this with chip shortage. But I can’t help second guess it since it’s been such a long wait and a new design coming this year if I should just wait for the 2024 4cylinder turbo.

    Just wondering..........
    Is there any difference between a 2022 and a 2023 ?
    ....besides the build date

That would depend on trim level.

Having been involved in this forum since 2021 when I got my TRD ORDCSB 6MT (since totaled) the main difference seems to be the power driver’s seat and Apple CarPlay in 2020. I cannot detect a difference between 2022 and 2023 and I am awaiting delivery of a 2023 TRD Pro. Maybe availability / type of the tonneau cover?

I am in the same position you are. I have already been waiting 8 months, originally ordered a 22, then had to change to 23. My Taco is scheduled to be built on January 30th. Finally a light at the end of the tunnel. However, at this point I have been wondering if it might be worth waiting for the full details on the 24.

I think at this point I will go with the 23 and end saga of the purchasing process. I have some plans this summer where it will be beneficial to have the truck, so that is definitely a big factor. My thought process at this point is that I can always reevaluate in a few years and upgrade to a Gen 4 if it seems worth it.

    Good luck with your decision.
