    none I still have a warranty ;-)
Got a leer top for my trail makes using the back so much easier then the 3 panel Toyota cover.
Still thinking about fog lights not sure if I want them in the stock place or in the new bumper

I’d say get the off-road. The trail may look cool and have a “lift” but I believe it’s some cheap hitachi shocks. With the off-road, you can get the led headlights and fog lights, crawl control, black headliner, etc.

Always the off road. I was so happy I was able to get my 23 trd off road late July. I wanted a manual so it was not easy.
The off road looks better in my opinion as well. No advantage getting a trail except a minor lift.

    2022 Lunar Rock Tacoma Trail
    Depends what you want.
I got the Trail because I like the lunar rock and the bronze. I am a real stickler for how rims look and I don't like the TRD OR version rims AT ALL. They would have been relegated to winter rim status right away which would have made me buy new rims.
The "Cheep Hiatchi" shocks as they are referred to above are the base model/SR5 shocks. But the Trail has a 1.1" longer shock*edit*(Spring) in the front and a 3/4" blocks in the back for a budget leveling kit. It's fine, rides OK, offroads OK, drives on the road OK. But going over bugger bumps with stuff in the back you can tell its a block though. But I knew I was going to replace the suspension anyways, which is now Ironman FSP kit sitting at 2" of lift.

In Canada we can buy all sorts of non-DOT approved LED bulb replacement kits so that is what I did with mine for only like $150.
Not having factory fog lights was annoying, but just two days ago I put in a set of Baha Designs amber fogs.

I didn't need or want crawl control or MTS really. I already have a built jeep Rubicon that this would take so much money to compete with. So all I wanted was the rear locker.

In the end the TRD OR and the TRAIL I spec'd out were really close in price, I think within a few grand of each other. Not enough to force my hand one way or another budget wise. What it really came down to was the Lunar rock and bronze rims.

    *EDIT*
To add to that. If I didn't already have a Jeep and wanted to build something along that path, 100% would do a TRD OR.

Funny what makes the world go around. I hate the lunar rock color as well as the bronze wheels. It's a tacoma so nice truck.
