While I'm waiting for my 2023 TRDOR AC to be delivered I'm ordering everything I need to get started as soon as it arrives. As far as the OEM head unit I have a couple questions (that will help me decide if I want to keep it or replace it right away).

    1. What is the internal amp rated at for the tweets, front, and rear speakers? 15 watts? 10 watts? 7w, etc.

    2. What are the speakers crossed over at? Are all 6 speakers full range or are the tweets actually running through crossovers so they are highs only (and at what frequency) , are the rear doors full range, are the front doors full range or crossed over to eliminate the highs, etc.

Sorry for the stupid questions but I haven't been able to find any of that. Thanks!

Head unit outputs full range to fronts, and holds back a lot of bass from the rears

tweeters and front door woofers are tied together, with a crossover wired in at the tweeter

As far as power output goes, it’s somewhere in the 12w range for fronts, and less for rears

Upgrade once you get settled . It makes an incredible difference . I love driving my truck for the system almost as much as the truck itself. Worth every penny
