    I haven't had that issue.

I'm currently on Spotter mirrors, though it was for a different reason. A freak thunderstorm cracked a mirror when I was camping, and it was the easiest way to replace the glass. :anonymous::anonymous: I actually like them better for backing trailers now.

I understand tight spots. I park my camper in the garage, and then I need room to park my truck next to my camper. It is not a big garage. When things fit right, my passenger mirror is less than one inch from the camper with both vehicles sitting in perfect parallel. Years ago I decided the fastest way to do that was to back the trailer into the dead-center of the garage, unhitch it, and then put the trailer on a pair of wheel dollies. Once its on its skates I can push it into position by hand. (And then its just a matter of paying attention when backing the truck into its spot, every day, without rubbing paint. :burp:) Maybe dollies will work for you? If not, get the Spotter mirrors. The fisheye part still does little for me, but what surprised me is that the rest also has a tiny curve to it, giving a better FOV than OEM.

Imagine coming from a V8 4runner. I was partially contemplating selling it and getting a 4runner instead, but really wanted the bed. A tune was its saving grace because now it isa joy to drive.

Fake hood scoops are a deal breaker for me, so I guess I'll just have to keep my '22.

Dollies won't solve my problem. My driveway is uphill and widens from a double at the street to a triple wide section up to the attached garage, then turns back into a single as it goes along side of the house. Then I go through a gate and another 100 feet back to a pad next to my detached garage where I park it. See attached shitty paint picture lol.

I think the problem for me is the stock mirrors are convex and it distorts the perspective. I need a flat glass mirror.

Give it some time. The benefits will outweigh the quirks.

I’m disappointed in my purchase too. When I drove it, I thought it was perfect. I thought it would be reliable and (relative to other trucks) cheap. It’s been reliable but after finding this forum, it’s been anything but cheap.
