First thing Ill probably wanna do is intermittent wiper control, the SR doesn’t have it, my 2010 didn’t either but I added it on . Then probably wheels later,, I like light weight wheels, .

I also purchased a 2023 SR 4x4. It had the steel wheels but I found an NTO set of SR5 alloys.

The only option not on the sticker was intermittent wipers. I was very happy to see that bonus. I also really like the auto dimming high beams. On winding mountain 2 lane highways you have to use high beams due to all the animals. It really gets old constantly dimming the high beams. This is the first vehicle I have had that does that.

I added keyless entry and remote start. It was an aftermarket plug and play install.

I also purchased all the parts to install fog lights using the Toyota wiring harness as detailed in Nitori’s post. It is a “when I get around to it” project.

It is an access cab. I’d really like to find a full set of jumps seats. That is the only option it didn’t have that I really wish it had.

I will probably give it a level lift down the road a bit.

I paid sticker price. It was the only new one they had and was $14,000 less than the lowest cost used one they had, a 2021 which had 40,000 miles. Granted, it was a higher optioned model. I was really pleased with the trade value as well. I didn’t like paying sticker price but the high trade in value I feel sort of offset that.

Are you getting the 4 cyl?

My 2023 SR V6 came with intermittent wipers from the factory.
