I think we will see the actual pricing when the trucks hit the dealers in September 2022?

I'm a happy pappy, after that BS speculation just wouldn't end. Usually I'm pleasant and don't play the I told you so game, but feels good to see how stupid so many vloggers and sites look now, after I warned em about spreading misinformation and they wanted me to kick rocks for "being wrong". Thanks Toyota for being quick with the press release and making their speculation into official BS. These can be ordered starting in June, so this was timely. Just like last year, when when the 2022s were announced in May 2021 and launched in October 2021.

    Yup.

Somehow, I think I have abused that on occasion and used it instead to avoid using the clutch lazily.

You go right on down to your local Toyota stealership and beg for a $70,000 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro:D. Or maybe Toyota just admits, all of our trucks already have this and it ain't new.

As @DJinTN and I have said multiple times on the forum, it's early 2024 or Q1 2024 launch. Production beginning in December 2023, necessitates that based on volume build-up of first production units, freight, and then launch when enough dealers have stock nationally.

It's early 2024, because it would be miracle to have them in dealers before Christmas 2023. Production barely begins that month.

    o_O
That's not correct, as I've been seeing August 2022 for October 2022 launch.

They'll be available in October, not September. My source for these dates were right before 2020-21, when MY 2022 info was released and it played out as listed.

It will be released in August as production starts I imagine.

Chrome was king ~1950's thru early 70's fads, fashion, styles... everything runs in cycles. What you like today your kids will not and they will want to be different.

This is absolutely correct. I told my dealer last July that I wanted a Cement truck on Jan 3, and put down a $500 deposit in October. Toyota dropped the Cement but there still were not any trucks allocated to my dealer that had the options I wanted. I finally tracked down one they had said was already sold, but wasn't, with options I didn't want and the wrong color. Toyota is keeping truck allocations very scarce in some areas of the country. But even with a deposit, the dealer still has no order to be filled. The factory makes and ships what they believe will sell, and sets the options included. If they want to sell floor mats, tube steps, or navigation, they will add it to the truck, and it will sell.

I am betting they will screw up the grill on the new Tacoma, to look like the Tundra. Has anyone seen pictures?

Y'all hate on every color that isn't black, white, or gray, yet people keep buying anything they can get their hands on! They clearly aren't targeting ranchers and good ol' boys...

Still frustrated that they continue to leave out the JBL on the M/T TRD Pro. There's no reason for it besides $$.

It’s possible. That said, from what I can see, I expect early September production, which coincidentally matches what the last couple of model years has been for the Tacoma as well.

    But… either way.
