I’m new to the Tacoma world and have a question regarding something that happen to me this weekend while driving. I have a 2023 Tacoma Off-Road with Automatic Transmission. While stopped on a hill I let off the brake to take off and when I went to accelerate my truck had this awful clanking sound. It sounded as if it was having a hard time finding the gears. As soon as I started to move it stopped and it drove fine the rest of the way home through the mountains and freeways. It drove fine today driving to and from work. Is this something I need be worried about? Thank you!

Sounds like your hill control kicked in. Suppose to help prevent you from rolling backwards on a hill.
