First Time poster here... I just picked-up my Tacoma a couple of months ago... a 2023 TRD Sport 4x4.

As others are posting their builds and mods, here are mine.

Dealer included/installed as part of the purchase (OEM):
    - Bed D-Rings
    - Bed Cleats
    - Bed Mat
    - All Season Floor Mats
    - Tube Steps / Running Boards - Black
    - Door Sill Protectors
    - Mud Flaps / Guards (Of course!!!)
    - Blackout Tacoma Badges and Exhaust Tip
    - Alloy Wheel Locks
    - Tonneau Tri-Fold Bedcover (Solidfold ALX by Extang)

    Installed by me:
    - LED Bed Lights (Amazon, $13, and look the same as the $69 Toyota lights)
    - Gas Cap Holder (Amazon, $9, and the factory way of holding the cap is a joke)
    - Cover For Backseat (Protects from pets, claws, etc.)
    - OEM Remote Tailgate Lock* (Dealer, $148 including tax)

My Tacoma has (all OEM) the 360-view option, leather seats, JBL sound system, LED headlights, and LED foglights.

    * My Tacoma came without a electric / remote lock for the tailgate and after a few weeks of using the truck, I decided that was a good addition. However, the dealership wanted way too much to install it, but was more than happy to sell me the kit. When comparing the aftermarket Pop & Lock kit, installation, and price to the Toyota OEM kit, it was obvious the Toyota OEM kit was the better choice. The difference in costs was $10-20 US ($128 + shipping for the P&L vs. $148 after tax for OEM). The OEM kit unlocks when the passenger doors unlock vs. when the driver door unlocks. It's an OEM part, so perfect fit and no static from Toyota since it is plugging into the electrical system. Lastly, it has a better wiring path (IMHO). The installation took about 1.5 hours, and the included instructions were spot on.

    Additional mods I am considering:
    - Lock mechanism to prevent theft of the tailgate
    - Tinting the driver and passenger side windows
    - Interior LED lights
    - Center console and glovebox divider / organizer parts
    - Replacing the TRD hood with the SR flat hood*

    * 1) Easier to see over the hood, so safer.
    2) Reduces direct sunlight reflection, so safer.
    3) Less wind drag, so better performance and MPG.

What kind of mud flaps/guards did you get? And are you happy with them? I’m looking for some myself and don’t know which ones to go with.

    cgielczyk,

They are Toyota OEM mud flaps. The dealer only gave me one choice, but I like them so far. They are black, look good, and match the vehicle. If there was a choice, I would like them to be longer to catch more, but that's a personal choice.
