Can't argue all your points. But, I am willing to pay a lot more simply because I like the way Tacoma looks, and I'm at a point in my life where I can afford to do this.

    Welcome to TW!

3rd gen Frontiers are nice. Quieter than Tacos. Lower crawl ratio. Killer transmission. Much power. Good sound system. Great visibility. Seat heaters/steering wheel heater is super nice. Utilitrack/cargo tie down system is more robust than Toyota's

Backup camera is from 2004. Auto brake sensors, even when turned down, are a fucking hazard, holy shit will they give you whiplash. Hud layout was designed by a dyslexic colorblind 5 year old. Turn radius of a battle ship (the full size Titan has a tighter turn radius). Next to no room for suspension travel or tire stuffage. And the frames are thinner than Tacos. Oh, and mirror defrost.... Isn't standard. Neither is a dimming mirror. And the steering wheel can't be adjusted.

It's more refined on the inside.... But other than a nice daily/road trip truck, the Taco has it best in every category.

Unless you get the Pro4X with lighting package. Those lights are good. And the Pro4X interior is absolutely mint.

All of that being said..... The Taco will hold it's value and is beyond proven. Nissan have created a true competitor here (outselling the Colorado even).

Frontier S can be likened to an SR5
SV is an SR5 Premium/tech package etc
ProX fits between a TRD Sport and OR4x2
Pro4X is an OR with tech package.

    Buy accordingly

Ps: trail limo ONLY available as an SV

    Working on it ...
I’ve had my truck for 2 1/2 years now, with the push start, and yet when I get in it I keep on trying to push the friggin 4 wheel drive button to start it!

Tacoma does not have auto start stop. I don't know if the new Tundra does, if it does that can't be good for the turbos. The only benefit I can think off that would make PTS a good feature is incorporating the auto start stop off button with the PTS button.

Start the truck and deactivate the auto start stop at the same time with the same button.

Push start and auto shit start are two different things.

And the new trucks better not have that garbage in it.

Will it though? Nissan has not put it in either of their trucks...

One can hope but someone down the line will complain about antiquated bs and they'll start becoming standard issue.

Yes the 2013 has LED tails.

As for 3rd gens, there's like 59 different LED tail setups you can get lol

So you think there’s even a small possibility for a M/T for one of the 4th gen drivetrains? I thought I remember reading somewhere (I could be completely wrong) that the turbo 4 in the Lexus NX was only set up for automatic transmission and wouldn’t play nice with a M/T.
