Have a 2023 Tacoma TRD Off-road double cab short bed automatic purchased beginning of June and has 800 miles on it. I have now experienced twice when I start the car and it has not ran for a day or so that when I shift to reverse it is a bit difficult almost like a clunk into reverse and then briefly the vsc message comes on the dash then it disappears and everything is fine. This happened in my garage on a level surface. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be that the rpm’s need to settle more before shifting into reverse? Is it new and needs to break in? Thanks for all the help!
