    Hello,

They either spilled the oil, or yes its leaking. I would suggest to check your oil, ask your husband or father and they will prob know how to do it. If they aren't available, you can watch this video and check. The Tacoma oil dipstick is same color, you need to first open the hood.

The hood unlock button is left down corner from steering wheel, its like a small plastic button that pulls out and hood will open. Its heavy so if you are short you might need to use a step or something

It will look like this, you want oil to be visible towards B dot.

    1. Unlock the hood using pull button by left corner away from steering wheel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FaB2wcBdxY

    2. Open up the hood and secure it with the stand provided, you will see it by grill ( its heavy )
    3. Locate oil dipstick, its to the left side by engine

    4. Pull out dipstick, wipe it off and put it back
    5. Pull out , check the oil level ( take pic if you want to track it later on )

    6. Wipe it and put it back again all the way.

If its towards lower dot, don't add any oil. Take it back to dealership

Your son might know how to do it, just be careful with the hood, its heavy.

I wouldn't consider that a significant oil leak and wouldn't be concerned unless you see oil pooled on the ground after driving. My Pontiac Firebird 400 and Jeep LJ leak oil and I just check the oil level occasionally. This doesn't seem like a serious concern.

If it's covered under warranty, I say get it fixed.
If not then you have to decide to repair it based on how much oil you're losing.
If it were me I get it repaired either way but that may depend on your budget.
As a side note my opinion is that a "seep" is a very slow leak.
It probably starts with a gasket or seal that is not working.
If not under warranty I'd start with just the seal or gasket replacement.
