2023 Toyota Tacoma sport 4x4

Code p21cf cylinder 1 injector ‘B’ circuit/open has been detected and code p0348 camshaft position sensor A circuit high bank 2. Engine light on with trac off lite up also. Are these 2 codes tied together? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

 

Not under Warranty?

 

Bought used just under 10,000 miles. Dealership said they need to run diagnostic for $150, not covered, to tell me if warranty. I think it is sold as is, will have to look at paperwork when I get off 12 hr shift.

 

It's still covered under Toyota's bumper to bumper. You shouldn't be paying a dime to have a check engine light diagnosed.

Did you buy it at a Toyota dealer?

 

Yes, I-95 Toyota, they said the diagnostic isn’t covered, $150, and wouldn’t be able to tell me if covered until they do the diagnostic. 32,825 miles on it now. Will need to read bumper to bumper and if it carries over to 2nd owner.

 

Just research the Toyota bumper to bumper, it is for 3yrs or 36,000 miles. Just made that, will take it in to dealership Monday. Thanks for your advice.
