I’m sure the next generation will fix a lot of the common complaints, but I wanted this gen to get the stick shift.
From what I’ve read, it is unlikely a stick shift will survive.
And will it be for ‘24 or ‘25? Who knows

It is sad to see young folks not even able to use a clutch. That includes my 3 daughters.
But, hey, my wife can. And a wife who can shift gears…well you know

    Thanks.
My last stick shift was my 2006 Volvo S60R. Good to be shifting again myself

Teach your daughters! They better know how to change a tire and what fluids to check under the hood, too!

Remove the factory rack before it etches its gaskets into the paint, at least Toyota trimmed the rubber trim moulding up there for ya. There are some superb aftermarket roof racks that bolt I to that spot!

Sweet you got a MT, that thing will probably sell for sticker in the next 3-5 years if need be.

Oh - I was adamant that I would not take it with the rack. I came without it, fortunately. - Otherwise, well, I would have still taken it... :spy:

    (and removed it!)

And Yes - It does seems to be holding on to its value... (And made in the USA too - not that it matters, but it will to some folks!)

2 years now. Raking miles in at about 5000 per year! :burnrubber:

There’s a guy on here selling a Diamondback on the west side for a really good price. You should look into it!! I think it’s still up on the sales forum

'now' as in '22+ yes, you are correct.

In lae 2020 and early 2021, MT PROs were the last tacos made in TX as production shifted fully to MX.

Again - it is all the same for me... But if I were to sell, I think I'll mention that... - As it seems some folks would have a slight preference on this point.

I have the factory soft cover as it came with my truck. I like it OK so far. The way it is held down at the tailgate end is rather tough at time but it’s OK. I’d rather have a bakflip but this one came with the truck so I’ll use it for now. Welcome to the Solar Octane 6MT club. I too LOVE this truck!

So far I’ve upgrade the interior lights to LED, changed out the lame shift knob, installed a gas cap holder, added the bed LED lights, and tinted the windows. Up next is the AC mod, dash cam, hood struts, and possibly scoop LED’s and OEM roof rails. I like the way the factory roof rails look.

It's actually a blessing in disguise. My replaced my 6 speakers and added an Alpine Amp for under $500 and it sounds at least as good as my buddy's PRO with the JBL. I still have storage behind both seats.

Let me know if you decide to ditch the console safe....I wanted one but just can't see paying what they want for a factory one.

Keyless sucks… as the Toyota keyless works flawlessly. The stereo is somewhat easily updated. I did my front speakers and added a kicker hideaway sub. It’s way better than the jbl in my auto pro
