I only have 7800 miles on my 2023, and I will say the windshield is pretty beat up. I generally don't even drive near people, and none of my other vehicles are like this. My 2013 rav4 with 122k looks less damaged. Anyone else?

Toyota's not going to pay. Normal if you drive in certain climates. :tumbleweed:

I think OP means sand pitted. Mines pitted to heck from all the blowing sand here in AZ.

PNW here with varied conditions. Windshield is like brand new. Just like I drove it off the lot. Original wiper blades too. However, I do regularly deep clean with a magic eraser then use a synthetic spray wax after each wash. Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating twice a year on my windshield. (Spring & Fall). Maybe you had some transport wear or PDI prep damage you never noticed from when you picked it up from the dealership?

No damage from new. From normal driving getting pitted.

Mine had a wavy imperfection when new, so bad it gave me a headache trying to get my eyes to focus. Told the dealer, and said they are all like that. Then asked why none of my previous trucks were like that. He shrugged.

It got a crack in it a few months later, the Fuyao replacement is much better than the Toyota OE Pilkington.

Mines got that same wavy imperfection on the lower passengers side. Been meaning to replace it, but I'll need to pull the ditch lights off and maybe the mounting brackets. :notsure:

Have read about the wavy glass imperfections before, Toyota tells that is “normal” my response back was, so Toyotas quality isn’t what it used to be eh? Get a shrug in return… ha!

My 2018 was fine until almost exactly a year ago there was a big gust of wind and I drove through a cloud of left over road salt. In 2 seconds, it looked like the window aged 100k miles.
