The most I’ve seen off a new Tacoma is about $3,000. If you see $3,000 off jump on it now. A $2,000 trade will always be worth $2,000 to someone out there.

Yep, I am counting on selling it private-party. I just meant to ask, "Do I drive the current car into the ground and hope the Tacoma market softens later this winter?" Or do I just sell the car for whatever I can get and put it towards a truck now with prices starting to decrease but still high, and inventory starting to improve, but still low?

Impossible you need to pay markup… that’s what every saleshole lets you know. Such shortage of everything.

They made so few of those Hilux 4 runners at Nummi that they don't even list those as being produced there, they lump em all in with the trucks. You meant its been yours for 21 years right? Otherwise it would be a 3rd gen..lol.

And another correction, some 4 runners were made in China as well, if ya got a first letter L vin...its Chinese

Your $2k car has bottomed out… as long as it runs well, it’s probably always with that. Or trending down so slow as to be lost in the sales noise. I think there’s a sweet spot for about the next 3-5 months while new prices are softening. But with the taco going 4 turbo, the remaining new 3rd gens will start commanding a little more $ as they run out.
