And there's no way to know that from that from the information offered. so...

They won't test the week of the first race. So it has to be this week.

And somehow the person "consuming" that promo piece is supposed to know that fact AND know the date of the opening race?

OR, they could have simply included the dates of testing.

Seriously. I used to be a rabid fan. Now I'm casual, at best. F1 needs to do better. The product doesn't exactly sell itself these days.

It is odd that F1 and coverage does often leave actual dates off.

That said, this year the official site is definitely more clear and is throwing dates on each page.

And agree, this year could be somewhat pivotal. If Verassneverstoppen wins the first 3-4, I'm out.

It's not that big of a deal. And if they see that promo typically they follow F1 and know the season is starting. If they are confused they can google it. The dates should be on there you're right. But F1 does sell itself and hasn't been this popular in a long time thanks to Netflix.

My best friend for over 30 years grew up in Monaco and still has family there. Although he lives in the southwest of France, for almost twenty years now we’ve gathered in the southeast corner the last weekend in May for parties with old friends and the Monaco Grand Prix.

It’s been one of my favorite races since I was a little kid first getting into motorsport in the late 1960s. It’s even more so now that I know the Principality so well. I’ve been a member of the Automobile Club of Monaco for many years, so in that sense it’s sorta “my” race. :D

Bring on the season. Daghe Charles!

(We watched the race from a different spot last year, and it turned out we were sharing the balcony with Charles Leclerc’s mom and his younger brother — after his F2 race. The Leclercs live in the apartment building where my friends have been for many decades, so we know the family. Very nice people. I’m not a tifosi, but I root for Charles and Arthur.)

    Panic over…

The image that Steve posted was shown here and taken out of context, it’s from a tweet on the F1 account. The title of the tweet was “IT’S TESTING AND DTS WEEK! We hope you didn’t have plans later this week...”

So I check the date of the tweet, then I open my calendar to figure out the dates of the following Wed, Thurs and Fri?

Assuming it's not an old tweet and the dates have already passed.

Rather than simply including the dates on the promo.

I don't have Netflix nor do I pay for an F1 sub, so this is all moot, anyway. Lol

VER betting odds of repeating are at hovering around -400 to -500.
Nobody else is higher (lower?) than +1000.

Some people are so inconvenient, we have guests visiting today through fri so I can’t watch the testing and then our little girl is scheduled to be born on the 1st!

Despite what you guys said my wife has already told me this will NOT be allowed.

Folks with internet connections complaining of a lack of information LOL

    Day 1 of testing
The 2024 RB19 clones match the 2023 Day 1 performance of the RB19

The RB20 goes 1.1 seconds quicker.

    Day 2 testing
Ferarri puts in a flier on softs.

Red Bull goes 0.7 slower of mediums.

It's really interesting to see the variations in radiator inlets. The RedBull seems to be the most innovative so far, they've even snuck a couple up either side behind the drivers head which seems to be a new introduction.

Kinda annoying now when talking about Red Bull we can't just type RB...
