A lot of money and LARGE corporations are involved in F1. This screams that someone who stands to lose a lot due to the dominance of Red Bull trying to find anything they can to break that team down. You cannot come off a season like they just had and not expect someone to try and take another approach to beating them. What better way than removing the person who makes it all work. These are people and forces that are titans of industry. They play by a different rule book and work with funds that could topple the majority of the nations F1 performs in. Much more at play in this circumstance.

 

I would not call her ugly but she is not what I would consider attractive either. Successful? 20 years behind the wheel with one fuel mileage win in 2008? I mean if she had a dick would you be defending her as successful? I dislike her because I think she was a failure as a driver, provides zero incite as a commentator and only has a job because she is a female in a mostly male dominated arena of motorsports. Had she been born a male I doubt anyone would know who Danica Patrick is. That is why I dislike her. I prefer positions be awarded for merit.

What annoyed me is that she is brought in and positioned by Netflix as the subject matter expert on what the thought process and emotions of the 20 current best drivers in the world is. People who are at the panicle of the profession yet she has no idea what it means to be them or credibility to speak for them as she has no experience. That would be like getting a local city bus driver to call a Nascar race. I mean they both drive shit but it's not exactly the same kinda gig.

I really hope Lando starts off well this season, if Piastri out scores him in the first 3 races I could see Lando spiralling like Danny did.

Hopefully this year is more competitive. Would like to see the red cars have more success and perhaps see HAAS run mid pack.
