I don’t think it’s difficult to acknowledge that although Danica is a much better race car driver than any of us her presence in the seat and as a commentator is a marketing move. There have always been better drivers and still are more qualified commentators but they aren’t women. Inclusivity, or the appearance of it, sells well. Good on her for taking advantage of that to try to inspire more girls/women to get into racing.

- mediocre at best open wheel racer, Guthry was probably better
- very poor NASCAR racer
- well down the list of on track successful women race drivers. Force, Muldowny ring any bells
- never shy to use her appearance or to enhance then remove enhancement of her appearance for personal gain
- a career ATM machine for herself and those who have exploited her for her sexual orientation and looks
- likely the worst of the Sky Sports commentators hired for their race experience commentary, Schiff is better, Collins is the current gold standard
