Any thoughts on how the new Stake-Sauber will run? I realize its basically the same team, but new sponsors and money can always shake things up.

Side note… Can we just call them Sauber?

New money takes a while to change things, let’s see after the summer break.

It was reportedly "too fast" for his age. I enjoy hearing the stories of when the drivers are out in the regular world and people have no clue who they are.

Businesses that lost millions of dollars in revenues because of the Formula 1 car race in the Strip corridor in November have banded together to ask Clark County government, the LVCVA public tourism agency and F1 for financial compensation for their losses.

“We don’t need the F1. The F1 needs us,” Jay’s Market owner Wade Bohn told LVSportsBiz.com Wednesday. “We want to be compensated for the losses that occurred due to everything F1, the county and the LVCVA did.

I wasn't there, and I didn't read the article. But my $0.02 is, Vegas and F1 had too high an opinion of themselves and what people would pay for the event. If the ticket prices were reasonable, more people would come. The average person couldn't afford a hotel for the weekend let alone the GP tickets. Lower the price of entry, and people will come. It's cheaper to fly to Monaco, stay the weekend, and see the race than it was to go to Vegas. Some people are just too dumb to understand how to attract business.

    100% agree...
In general, the F1 stakeholders (Liberty) are pricing out the average Joe. They've done some nice innovations, but ensure the racing public pays for them.
Gotta' keep those stock prices up

    Cheers

For the price of one Vegas ticket I could spend three weeks in Europe and go to the Spanish, Austrian and British Grand Prix.

Vegas TRIED to make it exclusive. Stupid move. If they double down on stupid, then plug will be pulled. IMHO

When looking at the price to have a piece of the checkered flag for the different races, Vegas was more than twice the cost for the next closest event. They'll sticking top their guns

I priced out a trip to Imola from NYC area and with flight and weekend ticket it was still cheaper than Vegas .
