Good race. Bummed for Lando. IMO, Max did do him dirty. Then tried to drive him into the grass. Guess they're now both even on that front. Definitely would've enjoyed someone else winning, though.

Now that's an entertaining race I like to see. Love to see Lando putting pressure on Max.

Yeah the contact in the turn was one thing but Max running Lando off the track was just unnecessary, something he would have done years ago and still got away with today

Shitshow for those few laps, wish Lando would have been a little more patient because it looked like he really could have gotten him

Fishlips reverted back to his 17 year old self. Total douchebag, dangerous moves under braking, vindictive, and completely unrepentant.

Great to see McLaren's progress is real.

Carlos Slim's boy still nowhere to be found.

In other news Jalopnik absolutely hammered Lance Slow ... "Talentless Billionaire Nepo Baby Failson Remains Safely Employed By The Company His Daddy Bought For Him"

LOL.....the best part of that article was at the end when they stated "In honor of Stroll’s contract extension that will see him in F1 for at least a decade, enjoy this 13-minute compilation of his recent crashes. The kid smashes up more Aston Martins than Daniel Craig’s Bond," and then showed the YT video.

If VER wants to drive like that he should get a NASCAR ride.

Rubbing is racing, both driver were taking turns running each other off the track and have been over doing that over the last couple of races. Lets not steward this out of the sport.

I was going to say something like that. While I think Max was a bit overaggressive there for sure, Most world champions of the past all drove like that except for maybe Lewis (but he had the dominant car for years) You don't get by easily. The Mclaren is possibly the better car right now so he's going to play dirty as he can. Look at Perez mid pack now. LOL

The sad thing is Norris had him on a couple occasions. In the sprint also but couldn't quite hold him off on the comeback. I think your going to see orange on the top step soon. This is getting good!

First time in a few years there's been a constant battle (or at least exciting racing) for the top step. Finally!

I agree. He doesn't know how to battle cleanly. His ego wont let him when he is gonna get overtaken.

Seen dozens of replays, Max ran him wide but not off the track, a couple of tires just on the rumble strips, the two touched, cut Max's tire then they both wen off. Max could have given more room, Lando could have refrained from dive bombing. Two guys wanting the same piece of real estate. No fan of Max but Lando knew he was taking a chance and then whined when it didn't work. Back in the day, I was taught it was up to the guy trying to overtake to make sure you weren't going to get wrecked (within reason of course).
    Cheers

With F1 cars being as aero dependent as they are, it is all to easy for the car in front to cause a crash, particularly in braking zones. "Moving under braking" is a no-no in F1 for good reasons. In fact the rule only exists because of Max Verstappen's long history of braking zone antics. Famous example: Baku 2018.
