My uncle had one and I remember he gave it all he had and we went over 90 and were like “this is crazy!”. Now we do more than that on the daily commute on the freeway in a pickup. Times have changed. I bet the corrolla has more HP than these old camaro’s. They do look cool though.

Mine is 8ft behind me as we speak...all original, so pampered. Which is weird cuz I was a mustang guy as a young lad...

    20220304_183421~2.jpg

    Likely...196hp in 86 with the 305

But it drives like it's on rails, as it's long legs stretch past the corollas lol

I had a 96 ZR1 LT4 Corvette with 335HP and I thought I was the shit. Now my stock Silverado has more HP but that was a fast car. I had some buddies with Fox bodies and they were the most bang for the buck for sure. One of my friends older brothers had a T-Bird super coupe, supercharged V6 and we all talked a bunch of shit until he absolutely embarrassed us.

We were driving from Va to SC one spring Sat morning. I was in my car. A couple mustang GT’s. Another buddy with a Firebird. We started messing around with a blacked out mustang in SC and after maybe 5 miles of that the mustang pulled us all over. Don’t eff with random mustangs in SC! The trooper was like “wow, you boys are pretty stupid”. Lol.

Lulz...I took my mustang on a road trip to FLA in about 89...going thru GA was fun then. GA had brought in the Mustang pursuit fleet about that time. Peeps would merge right on approach cuz of the daytime drivign lights that canuckistan mandated. If I wasn't smoking hash o the trip I might challenged a pursuit stang for fun....

no, i knew better. Radios and bullets travel faster than a 5.0HO

Pole winner Larson in the 17 had a cracked rotor. Drops to the rear for the Xfinity race.

That awkward moment when you get lapped on a green-white-checker finish.

lol, good for Larson. SVG needs to struggle to win here!
As much as I dislike Joey on the track I do enjoy him in the booth. Dude is excellent calling races and his point of view is spot on.
SVG did handle the post race like a pro but I mean. He is the JJ of super cars.

Looks like the Gibblet held up his team-mate long enough to keep him from winning the race.
