With the extra capital, Gene might get his F1 team to P17 for a race or two.

 

I read somewhere that NASCAR is kicking around the idea of capping the charters at 3 per team. If they do, JRM will get one from HMS for sure.
Unfortunately it would be a formality and would still be an HMS team.

 

Sounds more like Gene was pulling out all support, which forced Tony’s hand. Neither had interest in leading the team. This fell on Joe Custer’s shoulders and I don’t think he had enough bandwidth to handle the entire organization alone. I always say: you can’t succeed as a leader if you’re Human Resources AND Logistics. Ownership is *supposed* to establish morale & confidence.

I'm excited to see where Spire goes in the future. They've made a lot of investments in the last year or two. I'd argue they're probably on the same level as LMC right now but trending up.

 

I hope so too! I like Corey but I’m not sure he’s helping the team or hurting. P22 week after week gets old
