The good ol T-Rex. If that car would have been allowed Jeff would have 10 championships and would have only lost a race due to mechanical failure. I hated Gordon back in the day. I have grown to have a lot of respect for what he accomplished and who he has become. You know those JJ years must have eaten at him. He really is one of the top 3 raw talents the sport has ever seen.

i really liked 6car's attempt (some SS race month ago or so)
he fashioned webbed L hand driving glove to help deflect air for that 'Ever Important' .00021 of an advantage during Q

u know F1 allows these innovations........for entire remainer of a season, then bans at end of season with a New Rule.

 

Tony Stewart had a 20 car that my brother and I referred to as "supercar." He won every race they entered with it except for one where he was still in the top 5 (maybe second). It was never directly banned, but it was right before they went to the COT so it was banned in a roundabout way.

 

Pretty sure this was done by the 22 not the 6.

 

Right now SVG and Ty Gibbs are the only two that have a shot in Xfinity today. Both within half a second and 3rd is 10 seconds back (before pit stops). Shockingly even AJ wasn't hanging around.

 

It’s going to be fun watching SVG come up through the field.
