Over priced and mediocre at best product. It's no surprise why they closed the doors.

 

I liked it and the prices came down. But I kind of saw the writing on the wall when they started discontinuing popular flavors. Then they're being sued in CA as well. Not to mention the marketing didn't match his brand at all and he seemed relatively hands-off with it.

Has anyone watched the NASCAR doc on Netflix? 5 episodes following 1, 5, 11, 12, 20, 23, 24 and 45 through the chase. Not a bad watch. Seemed to skip over a lot. A few takeaways for me. Booty Barker is a fucking AWESOME person! And C Bell is a stud and lot more mature than I took him to be. That dudes arguably as good as Larson and I suspect over the next 5 years will start to dominate. How do you not like Ryan. Dudes just an everyday type of dude. Oh, and Denis being Denis!! LOL...

Doc interviewer: "So you told me you never get to high or to low but right now you seem pretty low".
Booty, with a very somber look: "Well, looks like I lied to your ass then".

 

I was going to start watching it today

 

I liked it. I've always been a Denny fan and this series helped solidify why I think he's a bad ass.

I like the comment by Jr about Joey. If you didn't know who he was, you'd think he was an insurance salesman.

 

I like that it showed the drivers giving each other the finger all the time and it plays the radio when they lose their minds and Mike Joy says "Ryan B is a little perturbed on the radio at the moment". LOL.
And yeah, very few like Joey.

 

Great interview going on right now with Ty Norris on XM Radio. Started with his DEI career and all that went on there after Seniors passing, onto Speedway Motorsports and are now talking about his time with Michael Waltrip Racing.

 

Yeah, he was tight with Dale Sr. Teressa made his life a living hell. He dealt with a lot of BS at MWR and I think he is at Trackhouse currently.

 

Teressa told him he'd have to take a pay cut of 45% or resign. He chose to resign. She buried DEI and both Jr and Michael went months without pay. You are correct, He's at Trackhouse and very happy. He plans to finish his career there.

 

Yeah, I saw a figure that Dale Jr. was making something like $800K a year at DEI and they owned his rights so whenever he did commercials and all that DEI got that also. That's why he demanded 51% ownership of DEI or he walked. And he walked strait into a 20 million a year contract at HMS and he owned his rights and split the sales of anything with his name on it with Mr. H. And Rick make him worth hundreds of millions.

Back when all that was going on. Ty was the only one trying to hold it all together.

 

Jr wasn’t ready to run DEI. Way too much hate for step monster. It was something that could have been saved but not by folks involved when Sr died. Ty was a mess and so was everyone else.

Yep 2 weeks. That shit show tomorrow night ain't racing. I'm not even going to watch that shit.

 

If anyone cares, the shit show known as the clash, has been moved to tonight. I hope this is the last year for it being in LA.

 

Why because of weather. They are supposed to last like 4 inches of rain threw Monday morning

 

Agreed, I don’t watch it either. Needs to return to Daytona and the format needs to return to being pole winners from the prior year. This shit show of cars on a go kart track and a stadium of fake fans who care more about the retro gear they are wearing and being seen than the race is crap.
