The vendors on TW are a big part of the community, we encourage you to support them as you build your wish lists and do your shopping. We realize that some may only sell products that greatly exceed the $50 minimum gift price but many offer excellent TWSS gifts at competitive prices.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/categories/vendors.62/

We have special discounts and offers from the following vendors for participants of Secret Santa:

Announcement from the great @memario1214 :
Although the TacomaWorld Secret Santa event isn't really a 'sponsored' event, Hotshot Offroad wanted to do a little something extra in support of the event and in the spirit of the holiday season for the event's participants.

I know that many of you are on the hunt for craft brews, shirt, hats, etc (local fares are always my favorites).

However, if you are looking for truck parts for your SS recipient we are offering exclusive pricing on ALL products in support of the event. Your pricing discount will be deeper than any sale or deal out there, and it will be a one time use for your lucky party! Please just shoot me a message with what you're looking for and I'll let you know what we can do!

*PS - We're going to double check addresses with the SS Elves so NO funny business!

@Santana@Realtruck has a group buy currently and can also probably get you a pretty sweet deal on other truck stuff. Also check this thread.

@Talon2006 makes skidplates and has some deals on the horizon for Black Friday.

    A note from @WormSquirts :
Hey TWSS participants, I own Overland Outfitters up in Canada. If you don't know us, we are a Toyota Specialty off road shop! If you are in the states, and get a Canadian, feel free to hit me up here on TW. You can get your person a gift from us, we will wrap it and ship it direct to your recipient for you so you can save on shipping across the border, plus save the recipient or yourself from any surprise customs fees (and maybe spend more on the person!). Plus if you message me directly, I will give you a TWSS discount on your order.

    Daria's Donation Efforts

I love animals more than people. This is no surprise.

In previous years, we have raised good chunks of change to feed and supply the local shelters with some basic needs and support a few regional rescues(outside of my area). You may remember that I used to do steak dinners for the local cats and dogs. The local shelter is still feeling the struggle, things havent changed, times are getting harder.

In 2021, I cooked a steak dinner for the cats and dogs, on my own dime for the holidays. This was the start of my holiday cheer. We live 2000 miles away from our family so I find ways to fill my free time and give back.

In 2022, my friend who owns a local beef shop donated the meat and their commercial kitchen to allow me to cook on a greater scale. I also collected enough money from TW and another enthusiast forum to refill my local shelters supply room with food and blankets, and enough to send monetary donations to some fantastic rescues.

In 2023, I donated $5000 to a local non profit that supports my local animal shelters. Thank god I work for an employer that graciously gives out corporate donations each year. My employer also donated $10,000 to a food bank, $10,000 to a domestic violence support group, and $10,000 to a non profit that supports children and their families through while going through the judicial system to find justice for children. So this was a great year to give. I was swamped with work so I was unable to fundraise on my own this year.

In 2024, we can do great things again. If you have the ability, please consider donating a few bucks towards some rural, barely funded No-Kill shelters. If you would like to donate specifically to dogs over cats, or vice versa, please send a note specifying your wishes with your donation. I can update the thread with pictures of some of the shelter residents. Do you want me to do another fancy, hearty meal? Let me know what you want to see.

Truck is built and unless you know of a wizzbang I cant live without i dont nessarily need truck stuffs. I do however have a Jeep Gladiator(my sn is shibbyjeep) that if Santa wants to go wild hes welcome to check out a couple things below. But truck stuffs is not required!

I'm a HUGE Clemson fan so any and everything Clemson is welcome. I'm a Saints and Braves fan as well.(if buying shirts 2XL please or hats they need to be XL too if they are flexy.)

    I have lots of guns. Ammo can be .22LR, .380, 45LC, .410ga, 9mm, 40s&w, .45acp, .223, 5.56.

Any camping stuff is cool; knives, flashlights, and randomness for camping.

I'm a avid disc golfer so anything disc golf related.

I love our country, so American flag themed things would be appreciated.

Also anything local that may be unique or cool to your area would be neat!

Unrealistic wants for 2023 Jeep Gladiator- A Sticker , A BIG Sticker , A Fancy Sticker(matte black with red outline), tinee tiny stickers, and finally Redline Tuning hood struts.

My wife and I have a 5 year old son and 4 fur babies at home(2 guinea pigs and 2 dogs), so if you wanna send something cool for our son or the fur babies instead of for dad that would be awesome as well!

Also I've never drank and don't plan to so no alcohol or related products for me please. My wife does enjoy red wine tho.

    And in advance THANK YOU!

    I know I'll enjoy whatever I receive!

So this will kind of be a work in progress:
Just to give you a little bit of information about me.
I currently work in the mental health field is a clinical supervisor and therapist working heavily in both the mental health and substance abuse population.

I do have a four-year-old dog who was a Doxle (half dachshund and half beagle) Who is an absolute terror to any type of toy that he has been given. He has never met a "stuffy toy" hasn't met his match and ended up being destroyed in a matter of 2 to 3 hours, so even though he's only 21 pounds needless to say he is a chewer.

I do have a lot of hobbies. I love bass fishing, F1 (big McLaren fan), Working on computers, shooting, woodworking, I am a chilly head and love hot sauces, Going camping, Doing some hard wheeling in my Tacoma,(hey... gotta pay to play right) and I absolutely love helping people out with their Tacoma's. We have a Mod meet every six weeks or so that runs from March to October where we install armor, bumpers, sliders, lifts, hammer hangers, pretty much anything that we can help other people learn about their vehicles, get together for some camaraderie, and teach the next generation how to use their hands so they don't get taken by mechanics or the dealership. Because of this I have developed a lot of specialty tools and always keep a lot of OEM parts ($400+ At any given time) in stock at my house knowing what parts need to be replaced like nuts and bolts that we might need to cut off because they are seized.

Here are some things on my Amazon list.

To my tw ss, I’m just getting into welding and enjoy wrenching and cooking. Have a decent patch collection that I always enjoy expanding. Prefers quality when it counts.
Anything along those lines would be great. I’ll post up some ideas below as I steal them from others lists.

potential wish list, adding more soon:

truck is basically built, so maintenance is my thing now. Or GFC accessories. I don't like cooking that much. More to come

passenger side steering rack boot - 45535-04070
steering rack boot clamp - 90460-62006
FJ tcase shifter gasket - 36345-35050
    Etsy GFC cupholder/hook/accessories
    MagSpots for GFC - https://jedesignandfabrication.company.site/MagSpots™-for-GFC-p483306989
    propane tank holder
*Just realized some of my recovery gear is over 5 years old. Not sure how long they last, but a tree saver or shackles might be good to refresh
My trasharoo has seen better days. I think 2 years is the max life on them

    if you're feeling extra generous:
    79" gray CVT awning walls
    TC Aluminum uniball press tool
    GFC drip rail
    Pair of Bora 3/4" spacers

Ive also been thinking about getting into tig welding aluminum and stainless, but haven't bought a welder yet. Maybe accessories could help me over the edge

I also have a motorcycle, but its pretty built. Could always use a cool jersey from rocky mountain ATV if you choose so. Size XL

Dear secret santa, here's some ideas for you. I'll take a case of your favorite locally brewed beer.

Just started getting into hunting (axis deer) so if you wanna get me some hunting gear (range finders, backpacks, knives, first aid kits etc...).

Garage stuff would include, power tools, mig welding consumables (wire, tips, pliers, flap disc's, clamps, magnets, etc...). Screw driver sets, portable tool boxes/bags (I do automotive work on the side), any hand tools as you can never have too many tools. Car wash/cleaning/detailing items.

Truck stuff could include backup lights for my bumper (2-3" pods or square lights. Baja designs, diode dynamics, rigid, cali raised, etc..), recovery gear, total chaos coil bucket gussets.

Here's a link to my build thread to possibly give you more ideas

Edit: Had to add because @Kwikvette reminded me . Been eying these RC kits...

    4 run, 2 don't
    DEAR SANTA!

I used to think you didn't exist, but I still have hopes even at my age! Don't worry, I tell my kid you're real and make sure he gets the best presents he can get!

But I never make a list for myself so here's my attempt at one -

If you want to keep it within budget, I'm a simple man, and all I'd ask for are tools (or even just a single tool).

I find myself sometimes needing a torx bit, and I've had the worst luck with different brands so I've been looking at these for a bit

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E8HM9N2

But something small and compact for on-the-go like the Knipex compact pliers would be fine as well

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005EXOKKE
There's also this kit I hear that's super popular, but they start getting pricey :bananadead:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016NC7NN0

If you're feeling generous, my favorite gift here would be an RC crawler! I've never had a crawler, and just having gotten back into the hobby I've been eyeing ANY of the SCX24's.

The Basecamp version is really cool, I'd take any color! - https://www.horizonhobby.com/produc...El5K0JEioMZpvt6ia3-8vSiuRe1csLHhoCHecQAvD_BwE

But the Bronco is awesome too and cheaper due to the sales going on! - https://www.horizonhobby.com/produc...mCmy5EbBtmPS8h0ugxgp6S444e8FKUChoCxtcQAvD_BwE

But really, I'd be totally stoked with anything you'd send even if it ain't on my list, all because you took the time to go through my content (or picked up on anything I've said in the past).

    Dear TW SS,

If you are a competent stalker you would know I like tools of all kinds and if you have that one tool that is a go to that would be great. My example of that would be the knipex cobra pliers. I weld, fabricate, machine parts, and do carpentry. Also getting into bead rolling and sheet metal fab too. I prefer high quality tools over quantity.

If nothing jumps out in that category then here's some other suggestions.

10" limit straps for front end
    Parallels for bridgeport
All of my automotive electrical tools are crap - typically use uninsulated connectors
    Noga SP1007
    Dimple dies
    Pipe stands threaded adjustment type

    Build thread is below

    Dear Satan, I mean Santa,

Great things for me would be:

    - Local beer (I lean into IPA's primarily)
    - local brewery or attraction koozie (it's the one random thing I try to collect)
    - Been eying a set of the baby knipex pliers, but can't bring myself to ever justify them (the 4" or 5" straight jaw ones)
    - I'm a new father, so if you're a father and must-haves are welcome (she's almost 9mos, so not so new anymore..)
    - Love Lego, but have quite a bit, so that might be harder to figure out unless you go extra stalker in the lego thread
    - I have a big green egg smoker/grill, so smoking accessories are always good
    - A helmet hanger for my motorcycle gear would be sweet
    - Been itching to try some of Wera's funky ratchets and screwdrivers. I work on metric vehicles primarily
    - Amazon list if thats your preference: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1TSEM4XCT1F68

    Hmm..

    Dear stalker Santa,

Last time you got me the RCI engine skid, It would be truly awesome to get the Transfer case skid, w/ exhaust relocate. thank you again..

If you stalk my build threads you can see I enjoy camping and Fabrication and recently built my CNC plasma table #builtnotbought. I could really use consumables for the table... If you stalk the build thread you will find someone who has the same torch and can advice on will work. bonus points for the double stalk..

I am good on recovery gear that has been requested in previous years.

I could use a Good set of screw drivers, I have a bunch of mismatched and questionable quality screw drivers that are chipped or bent. My klien stuff stays at work where they make me money, home I put up with what I have on hand Perhaps a set of small to medium(ish) pry bars so I can keep any future screw drivers in good shape.

Layout and measuring tools would be very nice as well

2x72 grinding belts, 36grit to around 80grit are the ones I use most followed by 120grit

Gonna cheat and copy/paste from 2022, and add things as I think of them.

I have a pretty well set up 2nd gen, I don't need recovery gear or anything of that sort, and honestly can't think of anything it needs besides general wear items (although I do need a single Level 8 MK6 wheel)

I really like Star Wars, have a cat, no kids, generally like hunting/fishing/tools/knives, and other guy stuff. I wear a size xl in shirts. I like bbqing and cooking, jerky, alcohol. I have several motorcycles, with my Ducati being my favorite by far

I generally don't enjoy knickknacks or decorating/cheesy type things. I'm an android user. I use Makita and Bosch power tools and Stihl chainsaws. Homemade things are cool, as opposed to just ordering straight from Amazon (I get it, Amazon shipping saves a ton of money, I've done it too, it's convenient)

I also collect oddities and weird things, skulls, strange antiques with questionable history, etc.
