This deal is still in line with what other members have posted of approx. 9 percent off the total purchase price. They added the base price and add-ons and then calculated the percentage off. Good luck.

thx all... update - I've got it down to 10K with my trade and the choice is either in Ice Cap or Silver. Same exact options from 2 diff dealers decked out with the same accessories - tint, wheel locks, weather mats and nitro ;). White on the east coast and silver on my west coast of Fl.

Toyota is looking to off load as 2025's are about to be released. Dealers have tons of SR5's which they will move at a great price.

Sticker was $50965, invoice was $47135.31, final cost was $44163, minus my trade 39163 plus tax. Accessories included 14” display, mudguards, moonroof, TRD Sport upgrade package and 5” oval tube steps(black). Good deal on new truck but did not get a good wholesale trade. Wife loves it so all is good!

Definitely the right time of the year to buy a new car or truck.

I’d love to hear a few opinions on why aren’t more people buying SR5s? I am in the SoCal market, I will be looking for the most basic Tacoma, no bells and whistles. Now, I am pretty confident that if I am willing to travel a bit, I can find a no option OR in the $43000 range (plus taxes and fees). But the SR5, seems like no one is posting how much they paid anywhere, and you look online and the cheapest is $41,000. Now I did go to my local dealer, who appeared to have a dozen Tacomas they either cannot, or will not move, the best they would do on the OR was sell me one they had in stock, price was $48000 before fees. However the sales manager did mention they could get me into a SR5 for $42000 OTD (which would be about $38000 before fees). This was after I told them I wanted the OR. Any insight to how much people are paying for basic 4x4 SR5s? A Tacoma is, and has been my realistic dream car, and at 41 years old, I am getting close

totally regional for pricing but the goal should be 8+% off MSRP for any model. Lots of people including myself got 9% or more off.

I think right now 9% is leaving money on the table.

ME, QE and YE with pretty high inventories should translate to deeper discounts.

Goal was to get 10% Off MSRP, but managed to get 12.7% off a TRD Sport.

100% agree but Cali and HI dealers still be doing Cali and HI dealer things. Some regions will always get screwed more than others. On an unrelated note I am in Houston for the holidays and really thinking of taking advantage of one of the many sets or predator steps on marketplace for $200ish. Funny how many i am seeing since GST think everyone needs them. They are always $500+ when I look for them in my area. But of course I really don't want them.

Yeah, really should be all models now. I have even seen 1 TH that a member here picked up for about 9.2% off. Just got to shop dealers and travel if needed.

TRD Pro's also discounting, Dam time giving $3,500 off MSRP. May have mandatory adds though.

Yes! This is exactly right, we are in the SoCal market. My wife bought a grand Highlander gas last year. Now she was being picky what with she wanted so this played a part, but I was in car sales and have an idea on how to get a fair price, another thing is she is in sales, and didn’t mind the sales person making some commission so we were happy with msrp. We ended up buying from a dealer 300 miles away. No one else would budge on the ridiculous amount of ads ons. Still we are really happy, I love that engine.

FWIW, Southeast Toyota Distributors lay on about $2K-3K in over priced Distributor's "Options" for many of the SR5 4x4's that were on the lots near me. SETD added the XP package on top of that making it $6300 K total "Options" to the MSRP. Previous poster called it criminal, and they're right. I was looking for one with the cold weather package w/brake controller which added $3740 to the MSRP, so my options for dealer stock were limited in the ATL area. I ended up OTD for $48K including TTT, but probably could have gotten them down to $46 had I been willing to wait another 6 wks till now. Needed a vehicle though and 8.4% off aint too bad. Does pain me to see what other's are getting for more capable 4x4 pakcages, but overall, I am happy as I enter the off road enthusiast world as a neophyte. I have what I consider a sweet 4x4 that I can easily upgrade over time and a truck that will easily haul my TrailManor popup camper anywhere I dare to take it.

GST is very similar to SET now. Thankfully the dealer I bought from stripped a lot of BS off my build.

Basically, mine did too. Prior to TTT, I had them down $6K or 11.5%. That basically matched the $6372 in SETD options they added.

I got this email from Gladstone Toyota this week. Their discounts keep getting bigger.
