AC said he going to announce something in a few weeks or so. We all kinda knew something different is coming his way.

 

He's already primed in broadcasting with the entire NBC team

 

You guys remember when they tried to get Zacho track side for SX and he looked like a scared puppy everytime?

 

Poor guy. His anxiety got to him. I remember him saying before a race he'd throw up right before the gate drop.

 

I figured AC would stick around longer but he has also been pretty vocal in the past about not being happy out there just turning laps and not in position to win. Just plateaued....

Wow, retired mid season. Surgery must be in his future?

 

He'll officially retire after SX, but yeah, injuries are holding him back (no surprise)

 

That sucks. He always seemed like he could be a championship winner but always ended up with an unfortunate injury pretty much every season.

 

Someone's got a cherry CR500 on full display at my office today. Don't see that often... Or ever.

 

So nasty. It was a privilege to ride one, but my god that thing vibrates like hell.
Be awesome if there was a modern one that was counter balanced and e start, but maybe it was a good thing they were never tamed.

Big guy got to putz around the parking lot today when he wasn't on his ebike.

 

I stopped by Gillette Stadium in Foxboro for a lunch break walk today. I was hoping to go up in the lighthouse to check out the track getting built but it was closed. I could see a little bit through the gate. A lot of the team haulers are there already or arriving now and getting washed. I passed the Triumph truck on the road last night. Those rigs are bad ass.

 

We have rain coming today and tomorrow plus we’ve had record rainfall lately here in MA so the soil is already soaked. I hope it’s not another sloppy mess of a track. At least Saturday’s forecast is just cloudy.
