Oh, last night I decided to swap Anderson in for Tomac. lol... so my picks are now:

    1. Sexton
    2. Roczen
    3. Webb
    4. Anderson
    5. Plessinger
    12. McElrath

I'm keeping Plessinger in there, gotta give the Ohio boy some love.

Tomac did well in heat 1, because of the riders he was up against. Not much competition. Agreed about Copper Webb needing to pick up the pace. I'm sure Roger Decoster will have words with him in the pits. :smack:

Anderson needs to work on his suspension settings. Bike doesn't want to corner/turn.

    1. Tomac
    2. Sexton - 3rd
    3. Anderson - 2nd
    4. Webb - 8th
    5. Roczen - 13th
    12. McElrath - 10th

Came close on McElrath. Think overall I'm sitting at 46ish points on the evening, 104ish overall. Too bad I missed the first race. :/

Always been a Big Tomac fan. Usually, the top racers in this sport last about 10 competitive years and I believe this is Tomac's last year of championship possibilities. He might last longer than 10 years because he really has not had much of an injury problem. I can only remember 1 really bad injury when he crashed and hurt his shoulder in Colorado at the national. But you are correct MGMDesertTaco, 30 years old is considered over the hill in Professional Motocross, although more and more are staying later in years and remaining competitive, just not on a championship level.

Just watched the 450 main again without my beer goggles on. The track looked pretty unforgiving, hard packed and slick.

Orange & White Bikes - looked too stiff, front ends light, and rebound too quick front and back for all riders.

Team Anderson (since he's the only Green bike in the premier class) - also a little stiff and rear looked twitchy. Anderson is a bigger guy so seemed like he was able to manhandle the bike into where he wanted all night, with exception to the fudged turn where Eli got around him for 1st.

Hondas - looked like Cadillacs. Unfortunate night for Kenny, though. Wish he'd bounce back from one of these crashes and put on a charge instead of throwing in the towel so quickly. Seems like he's a bit weak minded this year.

Blu Cru - bikes were dialed. Eli looked like he was just floating all night. That was a class act win and pretty much flawless ride aside from one near miss with a tuff block before the final turn.

Yellow bikes... Didn't look at em

Craig seems to be solidifying himself as the #1 contender for that championship. I still can't get over how quick he is in the whoops it's unreal.

Pretty spot on. I agree with that. I think the new KTM/Husky is still not quite there yet on set-up. They look kind of bad in the corners. JA looked really sketchy in the heat but came around in the main. Sometimes it's tough to judge him because his riding style is so different. The YZFs looked super smooth.

Fortunately / unfortunately it seems to be the year of the block pass. You get hit with one of those and your night is over.
