Yes, I'm the same way. I hate watching mud races. I'll still watch but it's annoying. And ya, fantasy is a total toss up at this point lol.

Forkner announced on insta that he basically grenaded his knee and all of the things that hold it together. Out for a long while.

Hopefully that's not a career ending injury. He's got a lot of talent and potential.

Really? Tomac mentioned on the podium at Anaheim the only reason he chose to race this season was because he rode the 2023 and was happy with it. I guess the money was too good to pass up.

Ya that was the word. Hate that it's true. I feel bad for him.

I though that also but there was word as A1 approached that he wasn't as excited about the bike as it was made out to be. Keefer and Matthes have since echoed that. Supposedly Matthes said on Pulp that he was possibly running a '22 frame in disguise. I know that is BS, it is for sure a '23 frame. You can tell by the front wishbone and he shoukd know that. But regardless, it still plays into the fact that he was not totally happy. Ferrandis however was not a fan of the previous gen and loves the new one.

Well, he doesn't seem to have any trouble putting on the dog and pony show. If I were younger and in better physical shape I would have loved the opportunity to race pro. :bikewhoops:

These tracks are getting pretty ridiculous lately. Almost the entire track is one long rhythm section. There is no room for error and the crashes are getting worse.

Track was boring. Conditions is what made the riders go sideways.

For an A1 it looked intense. Usually the first race is set up kinda easy. The split start did seem to help with the massive first turn knockover that you'd see in past A1's. The bikes are so good now and the rider are the best in the world. I haven't heard any of the riders be like nah I'm not doing that.
Last year I believe at Atlanta I remember there was like a 120ft triple that they knocked down after practice before the race. They do listen to the riders if something is too dangerous. Not saying that SX is safe. Riders are going to get hurt.

It looked like all of the big bikes were over shooting everything and having a hard time getting into rhythm (aside from Eli...), which speaks to technicality of the track layout for sure.

NOOO!!! But honestly I'd rather watch a good race on a different day than watch everyone roll the jumps.
I was at the San Diego SX the time with the rain and the lime issue. If it wasn't for all the beer that I had I would of been pissed

Yeah I think it was a head wind that would change and no one could make the landing.

Yeah but I love a good mud race like the year it was Reed and Windham and Reed got stuck and blew his engine 50 feet from the finish line.

Ahh yes. Well he looked liked the only calm guy out there thinking it was just a day on the track. Everyone else looked stressed whenever I'd see the riders without their helmets on. First race jitters.

Well that escalated quickly. Yesterday they were pretty determined to get the race in and apparently today things changed. It must be really bad out that way. That sucks. Probably for the better though. Mud races are pretty useless, when it is really bad. It could ruin someone's championship and it's just silly, in my opinion. So I'm glad they decided to postpone.
