Absolutely. It's going to be exciting.

Yep. I think he will do well. Looking forward to seeing him.

You know, I was really expecting a lot more from Christian Craig.

BIG OOOOOOOF. He bit me in rnd 1 for PulpMX Fantasy in a bad way, and I've quit caring about him ever since. Which sucks. Was really pulling for the guy to find success, but he clearly isn't jiving with the Husky.

I agree. Me too. Former pro Denny Stephenson confirmed that he is really struggling to get comfortable on the bike. And like I said when we were talking about the New YZF vs the previous bike, Craig would find a setting early on those bikes are barely touch it the rest of the year (both 450 and 250F.) So the new Husky is quite a bit different than the previous Yamaha that he is used to. So maybe he just hasn't adjusted or maybe it's just not a good fit for him. Who knows.

That for sure could be part of it. The alum vs steel is noticeable. But that newest KTM/Husky platform has a "different" feel to it. The way the backbone meets the shock tower, it really changes how the chassis absorbs energy. So obviously last year everyone was complaining about it and they were trying smaller forks and things like that to get better feel in turns. So whoops and cornering have just been an ongoing thing with that current platform. Obviously Webb looks much better this year, Mookie looks good. But it just might take Craig a bit to figure it out.

Mookie out for knee surgery. Husky is being hush hush on extent of injury, but the Swap guys referenced ACL in their A2 recap podcast :(

It was just different comments that he's made on Twitter and Instagram, about him struggling with the bike. The Yamaha stuff was from a couple different interviews that I last year from CC himself and some of the staff from Star. And in general he's not a guy that changes a ton of stuff on the bike but I guess it sounds like he's not quite there yet w the Husky.

Perfect example of being on a great team with a great mechanic and leaving for a bike
that no one wins on. Gonna be a struggle for Craig that will last awhile. :bikewhoops: Crazy thing
his Star mechanic stayed with Star to work with Deegan.

    x2 things to reiterate.
    • Yamaha did not have a 450 ride for Christian.
    • At 31 years old, this is his last ride. He wanted to race in the big leagues, and Husky gave him that opportunity.

I hope Deegan does well and doesn’t get hurt. It should bring some excitement to the 250 races which are generally pretty boring to me.

Track looks bigger than expected from the map earlier this week.
