The bikes seem to be working much better this year so I wonder what they did, to run 52s again. Maybe it was just outdoors that they swapped back to 48s, I forget. But for privateers, I'd imagine most are using either a Conevalve 48 or stock WP tubes w/ KYB internal swap. When my buddy did 250E 2 years ago he just ran stock AER w Racetech Goldvalves, because he liked the airfork hold up in SX. Then he had a spring kyb conversion for Nationals.

This will be something like the 20th Supercross I've taken my daughter to. It's become tradition. Sadly, the 2 things she's feared since she was a baby are snakes and motorcycles.

Was wondering if anyone can remember the singer back around say 2005 that wrote and sang motocross songs.
The music intro for tonight’s race made me think of this topic.
I’ve tried to search for the singer and no luck. I think it was a young country singer,
    Or an Actual Rider.

There was more than one song.

I wonder when Roczen started to regret his decision to ride a Suzuckie.

I don't disagree, but it really comes out in the interviews. These 250 LCQs have been spicy.

That would have been the most boring race in history if sexton didn’t take out the leader pole.
Also is it impossible for Barcia to pass someone without hitting them or pushing them off the track?

According to RC riders should just let Barcia pass them instead of risking getting put on the ground o_O

Yes to all the above. I almost forgot how awesome it is to watch and smell. I miss the smell of 110 burning. Tonights $10. T-shirt. Why? It's got the Jan. 14 race date. BTW- if Sexton's head was facing the other way on this shirt would it be more appropriate? Cuz it looks like he's crashing...

I keep picking Sexton and keep getting burned. :frusty::ballchain: I remember when James Stewart would have these moments also, I just hope Sexton can figure it out before he has a mental breakdown.

I can't wait until someone takes Barcia out.

Oakland track did better than I thought it would. I would rip a lap or two around it. :bikewhoops:

That shirt was at the race? Feld usually never puts the actual riders on series/event shirts.

I get that Jett is riding for the purpose of holding a championship on both coasts, but that dude needs to bump up to the big leagues and race some competition. He's checked out by like lap 5 every race. Looks like he's just thinking about what he's going to eat after it's over, or maybe if he remembered to take out the garbage the day before...

Definitely. The West coast 250 races are pretty boring to watch.

Seems like ½ the track was a whoops section...Roczen looked like he was having a hell of a time getting his jump timing right through them.
