2024 Supercross Thread

Idk. Seemed pretty boring until the last few minutes.

 

Jeez! He just needs to hang it up and get into basket weaving or something.

 

Does anyone know who the commentator lady in the red dress was and why she was there? Seems like they add more unnecessary commentators every week? Way too much talking.

 

I missed the heat races yesterday and am watching them now. What the hell was Jett thinking hitting Anderson in the corner. Does the kid not care about his image at all? There are so many people that already dislike him and cheer when he gets passed or crashes.

 

I cursed him when he 1st turned pro by being a fan....Max Vohland has been taking some damage as well....

 

I watched the races again tonight. VF was literally in the background or foreground of every crash in the main. Even when he isn't the main instigator, he's guilty by association

 

We need a GIF or him sniping Forkner off his bike or something

 

Forkner’s crash was almost as exciting as Chad Reed’s launch in outdoors during the 2011 season.

 

I couldn't stand her

 

Who is she and what does she have to do with Supercross? Are they just trying to bring another female to the broadcast?

First time we got beast mode this year! I didn't think it was a boring race at least for the mains. The heats and lcq seemed a bit tame.

 

What do you guys think about the LCQs? I feel like they should just get rid of them and just let 2 more riders from each heat into the main.

 

LCQ have been pretty intense this year. It's nice to watch that 4th place battle if the guys are close. The LCQ does have it place just in case something dumb happens to a rider. They can get rid of the 50s, but I rather watch that than listen to that Katie chick.

 

I still like LCQs in the event a top 5 rider has a DNF in the heat race. They are still able to recover through LCQ and get into the main to salvage points.

 

I can see the problem with a top guy crashing out of the heat. Maybe give each of the top 20 riders a couple of byes a season to bypass the heat just in case. The LCQs just seems like a big waste of time. Sometimes there’s a decent battle but it’s generally riders I don’t care about and are going to be at the back of the field in the main anyways.

 

10/10 would bang.

 

LCQ guys are the slow pokes that just fill the gates. By the time they make it to the main they are toast physically. No chance to be a factor in the main.

 

LCQs are some of the best racing.
