I'm not a mod, but I'll chime in - FLAWLESSLY. Tons of discussion on the new 4th gen and packed full of official Toyota information, specifications, and pictures.

Hopefully Tuesday it'll turn the corner.... if it doesn't burn to the ground before then :smash:

Yeah same. Really hoping the interior gets a upgrade as it's looked the same for several years now

Diesel ain't gonna happen. At least not in USA. Diesels are all but dead.

What’s the biggest tires I’ll be able to put on a 4th gen with stock suspension?

Yeah diesel mid size trucks are not really something the U.S. government wants

Partly the government trying to keep clean air but mostly because consumers don't want it. Even when diesels were available in cars and small trucks they didn't sell very well. Only the big dogs still get diesels now and the emissions equipment can be a hassle. Plus turbos on gas engines are making up for a lot of the torque that used to be a big selling point for diesel.
If a turbo gas hybrid has similar torque and fuel economy but coats less and is easier to maintain... Why bother with diesel?

Yeah.. I was offered those new wheels from hq but eh.. I opted for the TE37XT M-spec for my pro. The XTR are only being offered in an offset of +15 right now and I wanted 0 or -10 I’ll see down the road I guess. Options lol

Wide wheels are officially out of style according to the wheel manufacturer.

Heard from a friend of a friend that the Toyota engineers are shooting for single digit fuel economy this time around.

Is it confirmed no Tacoma will be available with a manual? The only way to get those numbers is to leave the truck in park.

I disagree with diesels are “all but dead” the only company killing it with mid size trucks with diesels is the Chevy. Others have faild due to integrity and price. I prefer diesels, I do get the government isn’t a fan but in hindsight most of there vehicles are diesel. It’s a no brainer why. EV are not a smart buy imo. One day they may be but not in the near future. They will need to get away from lithium first.

Yes, you can get a Colorado with a diesel but good luck with availability and they're $4k-$5k more. Not a big seller. I'm not saying nobody makes one, I'm just saying it's a niche market these days.
Agreed on lithium. EV batteries are nasty stuff. But the industry is switching to batteries regardless.

I hope they move the cab mount an inch or two back to at least support 33’s without trimming. :D
