Not sure what dealer this is at other than the Philly area but this guy is advertising $1k off MSRP.

they aren't getting swept up as fast as they were hoping... which is good for us. Down here in VA, anything SR/SR5 is at MSRP, anything above is getting $2k over or more... hoping to see the lack of interest have an effect before all the cool super trims come out.

Dealer I bought my 22 from emailed me “all new in stock Toyotas at invoice”.
    Does inbound count?!?

I would say yes if you can secure a deal on one before it arrives. That picture had invoice price on it so if you get one for that it is even better.

I’ll wait for $4k off MSRP. A 4G with zero options isn’t terrible but the packages are way over-inflated.

The 4th Gen is not offered in the configuration I want. If I can’t get what I want, Toyota will have to entice me with thousands of MSRP for me to buy a 4th Gen.

No one is buying anything right now with the current interest rates, which is a huge reason why cars in general aren’t flying off lots.

Meanwhile my region piles shit on every truck and 4Runner. Then the dealers pile on.

    Guess what a 2024 4Runner Off-road Premium is going for here…

The broker fee with him was $500 in 2021 when I bought one through him. After shipping your all in cost would end up over MSRP.

Can confirm he is legit though and the transaction with his dealer was super smooth.

Way north of that. The 2024 4Runner Off-road Premium with a moon roof and destination comes to $49,000. The region and dealer are tacking on another $6500 bringing it to nearly $56,000 with dealer fees. And they wonder why Tundras and 4Runners are starting to pile up.

The 2024 Tacoma shenanigans are going to be interesting.

I go through too many cars. I paid MSRP for a 2022 4Runner TRD Pro back in 2021 (placed a deposit, and waited ~5 months to get it)

I'm trying to decide if I should try listing our '21 4Runner or take the Vroom offer. Vroom offered me $41k. If I take that I would also cash in the extended warranty for another $1k. So $42k for clicking a button.

It's a Nightshade Limited in like new condition with 21k miles. It's got the regular factory warranty that goes until April of 2024 and a transferrable 10 yr/100k Platinum warranty that goes until 2031. That's a pretty compelling selling point. List it for $44k firm and see what happens.

Considering I have my hands full dealing with some other issues I should probably just click the button and take the net $42k.

    What configuration do you want?

Seems pretty simple to me, is the extra $2K worth the hassle? I wouldn’t think so. Have given up more than that doing deals because I don’t want to muck around with knuckleheads, not worth my time. I’ll make it up elsewhere. Money comes, money goes. By the end of the year it generally evens out.

I’d work with Jim if he had a west coast presence even if it cost a bit more then what I could pay by grinding a deal. I used to get a rush buying a car, loved negotiation. Now I’m at a point where I have such little respect for sales and the process that I’d gladly pay more to have minimal contact with these people.

I am very happy with my 3rd Gen V6 Sport 4x4 Access Cab and was hoping that configuration would be available in the 4th Gen. I would probably get a 4th Gen DCSB if I could get a big discount off MSRP.

Yeah love my ACLB, but bummed they discontinued it. Guess have to do a DCLB or bump up to a DC6.5 Tundra. No hurry to get rid of the current rig now, since there is no exact ‘24 replacement.

I bought my 20 Offroad from this guy. Smooth process and saved money even having to fly to PA and drive it back to Arkansas.
