    Hey Guys,

I have a 2024 Tacoma TRD off-road with the JBL sound system that is giving me some issues.

when playing certain types of songs, so Laufey for example, or with navigation or phone calls. I get this very metallic/electronic/tin can kind of sound coming from my front a-pillar speaker area. It almost like there is an interference with the magnet or bad shielding on the cables, or maybe a bad ground? But it’s certainly there and once you hear it it drives you kind of crazy.

Truck is at the dealer, they replaced the A-Pillar speaker already and it actually made the situation worse. So the truck has now spent a day with them now hoping to hear something from them tomorrow. Kind of hoping anyone with some car audio knowledge might have an idea or anyone else has had it happen with their truck.

Issue has been solved. The driver side dash speaker appears to be faulty.

I am having issues with my JBL Premium Sound too. Just started today. Was working fine the first two weeks I owned the truck. Now the HD Radio just sounds muffled. If I play music via Apple Music it sounds great. I am at the dealer now and they are saying 2 hours to diagnose the issue as the truck is so new....dude. This sucks.

Yeah that sounds like it might be a software patch since when you do CarPlay it’s fine. Mine was this back feed/sounded like a tin can coming from the speaker but was very song dependent

def sucks trying to diagnose audio issues, hopefully they can figure it out
