2024 tacoma with camper cap topper etc

I ordered the Adventure-without the side windows. I'm not going to be inside looking out and the molle brackets on the windowless side doors will add a lot of storage for stuff under 15 pounds. I'll add a fire extinguisher to one side and my jerk rope to the other.

 

lead time on it?

 

sagebrush i watched that video a while back. im really looking to see how it flows with the top of the cab/ spoiler. i never liked they way they look on 3rd gen.
that video they were more interested in showing where to store your pots and pans then how it fits and is made for the taco.

 

Mine's on a shelf as I wait for Toyota to ship me my side bed molle panels. Otherwise, I would already have it on and taking pictures on the road for you.

 

they make a shell with solid sides and back doors. It can be limousine tinted in the back, no laws against that. But I like the vented Windoor of the Leer. I ordered it a couple weeks ago. With all the extras it was 4800. I had a metal shell and it was noisy.

Is the EVO Adventure available for the 6 foot bed?

 

@kana6207 can you do these pics but on a Bronze Trailhunter? Those two canopys look way better than i expected them to on the pro. Do the smart caps come with roof rails for a full roof rack? Does the canopy intefere with the bed rail lights? Do they have a window that allows the brake light camera to work?

I have so many questions!!!

 

Supposed to be shipping next month (Oct). I've been waiting on a 6' Sport.

 

These shells come with tracks on top ready for cross bars or a platform rack. They do have glass in front for the camera and lights to shine through and they sit on top of the bed rail so they should not interfere with the bed rail lights (I haven’t done one with the lights yet so can’t say for sure)

 

The adventure is available now for the 6 foot bed. I have one coming in for a customer this coming week. I’ll post photos once we install it.

 

I ordered my Smartcap Adventure on Monday. This morning, I got this email from them:

'Your order has shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for the order to be available at the SmartCap Authorized Dealer...'

 

Just talked to my dealer (Offroad Alliance) and they said that the Sports are in production. He doesn't have a hard date but expects them to start shipping end of month or early October.

As I said, I ordered mine on Monday and picked it up today. I'm bolting it together at the moment.

 

I’m glad I didn’t have food in my mouth when I looked up the price. How would you compare to Alu-Cab?
