Boaterhome, why isn't everyone driving one of those?

6th gen 4Runner Pro might get front and 2nd row ISD seats.

Unfortunately so does the 4th gen pro when stacked up against the Raptor and ZR2 offerings.

No enhanced suspension travel, no front locker, just springey seats, big fenders and some wheel spacers. ha

Eh it’s fine. You can still take moderate dirt roads at a good speed with the Fox shocks. That’s all most people will do anyway. Folks who want to go extreme will mod their truck or start with a Raptor. I also think it’s uncommon to be in a situation where you need a front locker in a truck. If you are the person who gets in those situations you’re likely modding your truck anyway.

My dad always thought it was silly to buy a $60,000-90,000 truck and go bash it off rocks on the trail, maybe he started pavement princess ideology back in the early 60's.

Yep. people sit here on this forum and defend toyota no matter what lol. Objectively it's dogshit compared to the ford and colorado offerings and thats the honest truth from an offroad package perspective. Sure they dont have electronic front sway bar disconnects but they have almost 3" more suspension travel. Huge difference when you compare apples to apples.

Toyotas riding their fanboy coat tails all the way into the 2024 model.

PS. 2005-2015 (2nd gen best gen)

I can’t wait until the next major car show in my area, so I can see all of these trucks in person.

Let us know whatcha think of them. Personally i think they are all starting to look homogenous to me.

It's like Toyota is putting lipstick on a pig and the new generation of "overlanders/fire road wheelers" lapping this stuff up.

Did get to pop my head under a fully loaded tundra. Very nice (expensive), and the engine bay still looked like you could wrench on it so that was good.

The fanboy blinders are strong, and permanently affixed to many, it seems.
Objectivity is not a characteristic of the Toyota fanboy.
