Absolutely no offense or disrespect meant to anyone who likes it, but that dull tomato orange/red has GOT to be one of the U.G.L.Y.est colors ever to come out on a Tacoma.
Maybe second only to that awful purple they put on Jeeps a few years ago.
    Horrifying ugly.

Schwinn Homegrown were Tomato Red. Kinda liked those purple Jeeps. Toyota did a mystic purple mica on the 1st Gens. Dunno, different shades of grey gets boring. (even though I own mgm, isn’t really the color I wanted)

Hell, even the color on that bike looks like an actual red.
The terra color of the new Taco just looks like a dull color, like a smooshed tomato that isn't really fresh.

Colors are a personal thing. To me sans Calvary Blue, all other blue Tacomas going back to the 2nd gen look lame, electric lime green is an abomination, inferno orange is small dick energy, Lunar Rock is feminine, and quicksand now looks corny.

I dig the new colors in that they’re earthy and subdued. Though think that color on the TH is going to look old man tan in 10 years.

Cavalry blue definitely would have been my second choice on color.
For my Tacos job of totiing our off road trailer into the bush I just wanted some that would bled VS stand out. For as much as I do love some brash colors, I want to mesh with nature when I'm in it, not stand out like a rotting tomato.
I do wish they would have offered an OD green, would have snagged one in a NY minute.

I’ve had a silver Tacoma since 2006 and will likely go with silver again. Not the most striking but easy to maintain and trail stripes buff right out. Though I do like Terra and the new dark gray.

What is odd, never cared for the original Terra Cotta on Land Cruisers and early 80s trucks. And think the 4G Taco is kinda ugly, but dunno….two wrongs somehow make it right in mind. Think a DCLB with a Cab-Hi topper sitting on 35s looking fairly sharp in my mind’s eye. With some Fifteen52 Analogs in grey, yeah baby!

Always liked bright colors, wanted a Silver vehicle since I can remember, classic and really can’t go wrong. MGM came in first, so that is what I got. Sharp looking when clean, but not my favorite. Pickins are slim for the poverty SR trim, and I wasn’t about to pay more just for a color and bunch of options I don’t want or need.

Don’t like Quicksand, do think it would be better for me for all the FS roads I run down. Not much into keeping my truck super clean since it is in the dirt often. QS would have hid the dust better.

Love Blazing Blue, unfortunately it was discontinued when I bought. Might of paid more for that color.

One of my all time favorite colors is Forest Service Green, Lunar Rock is like a subdued version of that. I would do that color too.

The Tundra has definitely grown on me.

Lunar looks good on the trail edition but the decked out Tacomas and Tundras look like the wife holding the checkbook chose the color to me.

Might be some consensus that Army green is one of the best Toyota truck colors.

Good thing I am not a kept man. :p

Do not like Army Green, too well….military for me. All I can think of is tacticool and dudes trying waaaay too hard to look tough playing army. That look has spilled over into camping, like all of the sudden there is a war to go camping. When it is supposed to be getting out and enjoying nature.

I remember camping when it used looked like this.

…and now. Yikes! Geez dude, project much!?

I heard Somalia is nice this time of year.

Found this on Reddit. Retro stripes softens it a bit, though think blue would have looked better on the Silver.
