This was perfectly said...... I agree with 100% of this.

 

Eddie Jordan passed away. He's been battling cancer for a while and wasn't in great shape.

I've been enjoying he and Coulthard's podcast.

 

I guess my post about the McLaren drivers sounded pretty harsh. I really do like Lando a lot, and I agree that he deserves a ton of credit for his role in bringing the team to the front of the grid. Plus he's a monster at putting down hot quali laps. And, yes, he's gotten better at handling the pressure of being in front. So maybe I should take back what I said earlier. The other side of the coin though is that Piastri showed up with those qualities, and other team principals can't help but see that. It would be a shame to see him leave McLaren.

Okay, I take it back. Let them duke it out.

 

Them duking it out might be the only fight for the WDC we see this year haha

 

Problem is it is Ferrari, doing just ok is a complete failure considering their resources and position in the sport.

 

Yeah I agree. You could say given their history.

 

They were betting Hammy will move them up the grid. He got beat by Leclerc and frankly just did a lot of Whining. I expect that to continue at least in the short term. Improvements will come I think?

Man the hate on Hamilton is wild.... Like he personally stole a bunch of people's lunch money. So he got beat in his 1st ever race in a Ferrari by someone who's been in the car and team for years, by 2 positions..... It's intriguing how much people are putting on the very 1st race as if the rest of the season will play out exactly the same, and there is no room for improvement. And now asking for less information (his preference) is considered whining. I get it, some people don't like LH, so the guy will never be able to do right... Oh well.

 

Hmm I dont see where you see the hate in my statement? I just called it how I saw it. I'm pro Ferrari for sure, would love to see them battling at the front. Lewis is a 7 time champ cant deny his greatness but was always a whiner if things weren't going his way. Will he beat Leclerc? We will see but I do think improvements will come as I said.

Eh, didn't seem like constructive criticism... But you obviously took last weekend in a different light than I did. At no point did LH seem whiny, seemed like someone communicating with his team for the 1st time on race day. And just about every driver has a complaint or "feedback" when things aren't going their way, so to single out LH?!?

 

Hey well in this sport - those little guys are prima donnas? No?!

I'm just jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

And a Lap Record at that. But, we'll have to see how well that translates to the Sprints, and obviously race day. But definitely a positive, and something to build off of.

 

Ok we'll leave it at that.

Wow now he gets pole. Bravo! Seriously! Makes me eat some of my words. It's cool. I did say he and Ferrari would improve but didn't see that coming. Max is in the 2nd spot! Lets see if Ham can keep him behind through turn 1. This sprint is going to be good. 2021 all over again. Oh and the iceman didn't whine he usually told people to STFU. Totally different drivers but I see the parity there.
