Freddy Kraft is saying a big Silly Season bomb is about to drop that nobody saw coming.

    My guesses:

    • Hamlin 11 swaps with Reddick 45 and FedEx jumps on board with Denny over at 23XI.
    • Dale Jr. buys into JTG and gets the #8 from RCR. RCR switches back to using 3 and 33. (Stenhouse finishes '25 and Hocevar moves into the car in '26)
    • Busch leaves RCR to drive full-time for Spire in the truck series.
    • Dillon is retiring, and Austin Hill is replacing him.
    • New manufacturer announcement: Honda or Hyundai.

"Busch leaves RCR to drive full-time for Spire in the truck series." LOL. Something exciting needs to happen.

The Truck Series wouldn't even be worth watching anymore if this happens.

Mike Joy provided interesting info about OEM manufacturers and potential new engine mandates. I've advocated for this for about 15 years. Having multiple displacement engines on track with differing exhaust notes would be cool. Imagine the 358-based small block V8s, smaller 289-318-sized V8s, and turbo V6 cars duking it out on track. I wonder what compression, heat, and weight advantages could be found. This would open the door for manufacturers that do not produce consumer-marketed V8 sedans and coupes.

I agree, these teams need a box they can play in. NASCAR want's everyone to have the exact same shit. The only way to gain an advantage in that is to cheat. If you give them a box they can be different but find a combo that works. Along with cheating! lol....

It will be interesting to see what she brings to the table, both in competition and marketability. Hopefully, she'll succeed where Hailie, Natalie, Danica, Shawna, Patti, and Janet could not. Looking at this list of women drivers, I feel like each has been more promising than the previous one, but each has also had less success than the previous one.
