Blaney will make it, he's the highest points finisher from last year that isn't already in. Got to find away to get the names in it.

Blaney didn't even have to run the LCQ.

I know I’ve see Biffle hop in a car there. Lol, if he had said that on the air it probably would have went viral. Cletus does have the connection with the younger crowd and his friends have the rest. If NASCAR is looking for a spectacle they wouldn’t have to look much further.

Yeah usually only the bigger teams could do it and avoid going out there in an open wheel car

That was fun! Just enough desperate moves in the LCQ to make it fun and then a decently clean Big Show that didn't embarrass the sport on TV.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
If they are going to let someone in on points for the LCQ then you should at least have to finish in the top 10 in that race. That allowed the 12 a free pass and an extended practice session. I get that he had to come from the rear and I like Ryan but having a free pass is dumb and not even having to start that race if you choose is dumb. I hated to see Ricky punt Myers but Ricky is gonna Ricky! Dude has a once in a lifetime chance and you punt him. That is bad form. Not to mention, dude was 8th. He had a shot.
I will always be partial to this being at Daytona with the old pole winner rules but at a min these cars should never be on a track smaller than Martinsville in my opinion.

I'm refreshing the Wood Bros, Jayski, and NACAR.com hourly in hopes of seeing a #21 paint scheme reveal. They're tight-lipped! My hope is that they throwback to one of the few schemes they haven't done, a throwback to Kyle Petty's 1985-86 Thunderbird. Pulling the red back from the Darkhorse grill and kicking around on the C-pillar would be sharp. They could lighten the blue panels to correspond with the traditional Wood Bros blue accents. I guess we won't know until they roll the car off the hauler tomorrow morning!

Welp here it is for Daytona. Minor changes. The top cap (red and blue pin striping) no longer follow the contours of the hood. There's an added red and blue edged bit along the bottom. I sure wish they could do a wrap with metal flake or pearl finish like the old cars from the '60s and '70s had.

This was after our Tankers got here Mon. A.M. One for the Blue, (Xfinity), garage. One for the Yellow, (Cup and Truck) Garage.
Both share fueling duties during the races.

You worried about your job after this year with the contact ending end of year with Sunoco?

Not really. Been a part time gig for me and just about everyone else that does the race fuel stuff.
I have 20 years in and do about 10 races a year. None of us are doing it for the money. Mostly for fun, although getting to the track at 5 a.m. and leaving here tonight around 10 p.m. isn't all that fun!
I wouldn't be surprised if the contract gets extend another year or two. NASCAR is still trying to figure out to incorporate the Hybrid, Electric, alternative fuel race car.
