I got some additional pricing info for the 2025 Taco:
    Gas engine versions:
TRD Sport: $0 increase in MSRP for all 5 model codes.
TRD OR: $0 increase in MSRP for all 3 model codes. For the 6AT, 5ft bed version, the option packages increase $200 (i.e. now $9000 for OR Premium package and $4840 for the Upgrade package).
Limited: $455 increase but it adds mudguards ($60) and AVS ($395) = $455 as standard equipment.

Colors: The info I got implies no new colors (besides the Pro color). 089 (windchill) and 3U5 (SS red) are the premium colors. Hopefully this is wrong and they add at least one new color.
Late edit: TH and Pro both decreased $165 (but HUD has been deleted)

Does anyone know if the KMG database will automatically include 2025 Tacomas (and 4Runners) in its daily listing, or does the guy who developed it need to edit his script?

Newby here; greetings to all and much appreciation in advance for any info. It's time for a new Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Any projected difficulties getting the manual transmission and is there any price negotiating these days or should I expect something close to MSRP? Thanks.

Are you wanting a 2025 or would you take a 2024 on the lot? There are several advertised $2,000-$4,000 off MSRP and TFS has 4.99% financing in most markets.

Fewer manuals are produced so you mainly see autos on dealer lots. Where are you located?

2025 and am willing to order a specific model/options. I am about 30 miles east of St Louis, relatively close to Newbold Toyota in O'Fallon, Illinois, where I bought my 2003. Would pay cash or finance, whatever would get me my dream truck...

If you must have a 2025 with a Manual and maybe a certain color I think you will have less negotiating room. Newbold has a 2024 Off Road Auto on their web site listed at $3972 off.

If you're expecting an Off-Road with a manual transmission to be waiting at a particular dealership, there might be some difficulties. 25s won't be available for at least a couple more months, but if there happened to be a 24 and a 25 on the lot, the dealership may not be willing to negotiate on the 25. Once the 24s are gone, I think you should be able to get a decent deal, especially if the truck is already at the dealership.

These are the informed inputs I was hoping for on this forum so that I can plan; I especially appreciate the quick responses and insights from those more knowledgeable than I. Will keep monitoring and thanks again!

If I was anywhere near Illinois I'd be getting me one of those 30k Frontier SVs, if you got to wait until the Toyota you want comes along anyway.

There are 63 2024 6MT TRDORs at or en route to dealers in the US - including 4 in MO.

Use this to track inventory - it led me to the exact truck I was looking for:

Data is weird. Is it supposed to what is on the ground only? It does not show mine or another Taco Max in route my dealer in a few weeks. It also does not show exactly what is on the ground either since I know 2 trucks that are not show and are inventory?

Yes, it's somewhat of a mystery of exactly what the kissmygrits (KMG) database (I download the "toyota-inventory.csv" file and filter/sort it myself) is showing on any give day. I've seen some of the strangeness that you've seen.

I've concluded the KMG database is best used as a subset of what vehicles might be available on any given day. It's definitely not everything available, and it may include vehicles that are already sold. So it's still useful, just not "perfectly" useful.

Agreed - there seems to be a patch of dealers that don't appear in the KMG database. The CSV in conjunction with Cars.com and Autotrader is pretty good.
