Would this be sufficient evidence of HUD on the '26 Pro?

Zoom in on the VIN. They painted a ‘24.

I'm not the market for a Pro, no serious Baja'ing in my future. But I really love my '24 Limited. Smooth, quiet, capable, and I'm old so I love the conveniences.

Is that color as neon in real life as it appears in the photo?

Not sure, but the photo likely isn't a good representation of what ithe color actually is. It's a screenshot from a video of one of the Youtube reviewers.

Heard wave maker color is delayed until November anyway due to a paint issue. But yes I agree 2026 Tacoma TRD Pro and Trailhunter should both get HUDs, especially since 2024 had them. And Canada gets a HUD (+ sunroof) on their trailhunters

$87k Canadian converts to $63k USD. Pretty comparable considering Canada model gets more features, including the 6ft bed too.

I really don't get the PRO trim and never have, they're $65k here and you get a couple extras but for a ton of money. You can do ten times better on your own and save many thousands!

OR Hybrid Premium is $7K less than a Pro. You can do ten times better, so what upgrades are you doing for $700?

Same here! Got my Gen 2 SR5 with OME lift, tires and other mods for quite a bit cheaper. Will be doing the same if/when I get a Gen 4 SR5. Already looking at BP-51's, Duratrac 33's, Rokblokz mudflaps and a few other goodies.

The only gen2 TRD Pro was 2015 and your profile says 2012 SR5. Not sure how you compared your cost savings to something that didn't exist.

Not sure I understand your question but my OR Hybrids MSRP was $50k that I got for $47, I have a lift, Pro wheels, larger WAY better tires, & TH Grill. All in under $50k and it's all I wanted didn't need all the other PRO stuff for $15k more.

You said you didn't need or could do better than the Pro trim stuff, but more than half of that 15K difference is for Premium stuff - Softex, ventilated seats, bigger display, multi-terrain cameras, and more. If you don't need/want that stuff, yeah you can do it for a lot less.

Ya don't need the softex or those shock seats, I do have the big screen and heated seats. My point is I just don't think the premium stuff Toyota puts out is worth that much $$$, to each his own I'm sure you love it.
