A lot of crap and too much money spent
if the flight would have left on time, I would have missed it. I had my wife meet me on the road with my clothes and laptop. Did a car swap and drove 90 to the airport. Flight was delayed 30mins I made it by 20mins dirty as fuck. LOL

By the pics, it looks like mostly fairly tame dirt roads. Anything technical on this trail?

Anyone have a gpx or something of it?

only thing "technical" was maybe about 500 feet of a descent to get down to the bottom of the trail. Ruts combined with some oddly placed rocks. I wouldn't really call it anything hardcore but it definitely required some 4lo because of loose sand/dirt and steep climb on the way back up. If you map "relief reservoir" it'll take you on the trail no prob.

Yeah, I grew up in Sonora, just funny I've never heard of this Res.

Looked it up, look like the trail head is off 108, a few miles past Strawberry. Will have to add this to the list next time I do Crandall Peak.

I kept digging in that last part too. I have a video of it and I heard someone SMACK something. @Drtgrl did you hit a skid while going up that trail?

Sweet! Looking forward too it. If I didn’t have skids I never would have gave it that much gas. Freaked the boyfriend out but I knew it was coming when I got the bounce and didn’t let off the gas

I ended up denting my mobtown mid skid last weekend because I wasn't paying attention...hit a rock so hard it make the whole truck jerk and my cell flew out of my hand!

That was a fun drive. Thanks to drtgrl's dude for pointing me in the right direction a couple of times. The wife and I both had a good time. I have some pics to put up when I get home.
