That's why they are goin down the tube. If it's anything like how sport's authority did their liquidation sale I will not be stepping foot inside a second time. I ended up walking out with earplugs.

I’m not sure about meets but there are a couple of us heading to Bodie next weekend. It’s an old ghost town on the eastern side of the Sierras... should be a fun little road trip. We are camping Saturday night and heading back to the valley on a Sunday.

What’s the best route in? I heard one way is better going in than the other?

When I went to Bodie I took Bodie rd it was pretty boring. Like you mention I have heard that there is a back road into Bodie that is a much better (fun) way to get in. Looking at google maps I see Bodie Masonic rd. But until I was able to look on a larger device I cant be sure that is the correct back way in.

    She ain't stock anymore.
Last time I was there I drove my civic. It was a bumpy ride, but pretty straight forward on the main road.

Is anyone else going to this OB thing?

Suspensions are done. From the measurements it looks I have about 1.25” rake on the back. I’ll have take some photos and remeasure again next week. Will be test fitting, or maybe not, my front/rear bumper and skids soon. More than likely I’ll probably have upgrade to the 883 springs as well?

Ok loaded question, for my 2018 OR what is a good suspension for $2500-3000? Kings? Icons? Fox? Looking for 2.5” lift, like a little forward rake. My overland set up is about 500lbs

Everyone on here will tell you kings, I have to admit I will be replacing my rear fox with King 12” smooth bodies sometime next year. I currently have fox 2.0 all around. I think fox and kings are similar where icons are a digressive type shock.
Other things to consider are you going to be running a plate bumper with a winch at some point? This would make you choose what # springs you wanted to have on the coil overs.
For the extra weight up front. You could always go with a Dakar leaf pack in the rear.

I think what I would do is contact DSM and talk to them and tell them what your going to be doing with the truck and they should be able to fulfill your needs.
