I went with 2.5 ADS all around. Can't beat the corrosion resistance that Kings would charge extra for. Fox would rust...

Its one of those "rather have it than not" LOL. Im planning on doing a cross-country with this rig so I personally opted for them.

I didnt get the chance to install my suspension this weekend as I was busy with a garage framing/sheetrock install..

Going to be installing this coming Labor Day weekend. If I get this right (hopefully), I can be of service the next mod day. Ill bring tools!!

I want to say no. I want to get this done by myself and learn how to do it.

From 8 years of professional engineering experience, best way to learn is to throw yourself in the fire lmao.

I get that I have a hard time asking for help, except when it’s lifting heavy weight

    She ain't stock anymore.
So far I really like my Fox's although the initial hight adjustment was a pain in the ass. If I had it to do over I probably would have gone with the TC UCA's over the SPC ones, and probably would have skipped the compression adjusters. They adjusters are super nice don't get me wrong, but IMO they are a luxury option you can do without (says the guy who's never gone without them). @Papadave418 With your drawer (which is awesome btw), tent, rack and camping stuff I would for sure look at the heavy duty Dakars or an equivalent.

Keep in mind that the adjusters at least on fox are going to add about $400-500 to your lift price.

Thanks for the input. It was great to meet in person and see your truck, which looks sweet. Will the HD Dakars make the ride rough when unloaded?

I only had the shell when we installed them, and the ride was better than stock. Can't imagine it weighs much more than your tonneau cover (I think it was metal right?). The main difference, AFAIK with my limited knowledge, is that the standard ones are going to start losing hight with any added weight, whereas the HD pack gives you 600lb before you start drooping. One downside to Dakar's is they are squeeky.

You could also save up for a few more years and get her set up, and not worry about having to upgrade ever.

It was fun, got to meet @Papadave418 and tried to poach a few other tacoma guys there. Remember that pic I showed you of the guy with the DIY bed rack that I spotted at my doctors office? He was there and was actually a pretty cool guy, he's got a ton of self fab'd gear on his truck and lives in Ceres.

After, I drove out and picked up our skids, @LTDSC had to bail for a birthday party, but stashed them so I could pick them up.
